Hurt Tree Service just did a fantastic job of removing a large, dead oak tree at my family’s recently purchased home. The trunk of the tree was practically touching the home it was so close and was not located in an easily accessible area. Johnny was able to come up with a plan of action to take out the tree when giving us a quote and immediately erased any concerns over whether this job would even be feasible. Johnny and his crew meticulously took down the tree with a high level of care and skill and left things looking better and cleaner than they were before the job. His pricing was extremely reasonable given the difficulty and time required in removing a tree directly above a house. I would highly recommend Hurt Tree Service and use them again for any future needs.

Johnny is an impressively professional, honest, good guy who loves his work. I was most struck by his communication skills and his ability to come up with the best options for me -- no hard sell, and he worked with me to keep my costs down. Cleanup was stellar and he did a great job organizing the downed wood that I asked him to leave on my property.

Johnny showed up when he said he would for the estimate, and was polite and positive. When I had an earlier than expected installation of a fence that made his job more difficult, he worked around it and didn't charge me extra. He did the tricky work of carefully removing two large trees that were over my roof with no problems.

Wow, did I hit a home run with this company. I had to wait a few weeks for Johnny to get to my project, but it was well worth it. Whether it's a doctor, mechanic, or in this case an arborist if you have to wait a little because their service is in high demand then you're probably going to be satisfied with the service. We are happy to recommend Hurt Tree Service. Johnny Hurt and his team were very efficient in removing a large crepe myrtle. He ground the stump and an additional difficult tree stump in our yard that had an extensive root system. Large pads were used to protect the lawn from any damage during the use of heavy equipment.

Johnny’s team moved all the furniture on the patio and replaced it when completed. They left the landscape attractive by smoothing over the beds after completion. They were careful to keep the work area neat and tidy.

We appreciate their work and responsive service. We highly recommend Hurt Tree Service and will use them again if the need arises.
