From the minute we stepped inside we were greeted by warm smiles and friendly faces of the staff. The inn is warm and welcoming regardless of what time of year.
We attended the Italian Food Truck Festival at the winery and spent the night at the inn. We used the fire pit in the gazebo and met some of the other guests and had a wonderful time chatting, watching the fireworks from the winery and drinking delicious wine.
Tamika, the inn keeper, is amazing. The rooms, and the house are spotless. They serve a full hot breakfast and it was delicious. Coffee was always fresh and ready.
The icing on the cake was that I accidentally left my watch which has significant sentimental value to me. Tamika called and let me know they found my watch. I’m so grateful!
I can’t wait to go back and stay with them again.

My partner and I had such a lovely time at Laurita Inn. We weren't sure what to expect as this was our first time at a bed & breakfast. Our host, Denise, did not disappoint! We stayed in room #9 and it was absolutely beautiful. From the vintage feel of the place to the view of the horses from our balcony, we were so pleased. Denise was extremely helpful and accommodating during our stay. We had wanted a cheese board brought to our room pretty last minute while we enjoyed Laurita Winery and she made sure that was waiting for us when we got back. The breakfast was delicious, the common rooms were so cute and the grounds of the Inn were picturesque . They even provided their guests a list of nearby locations to visit. We visited the New Egypt Flea Market where we spent nearly two hours walking around and enjoying. Overall, we had such an amazing time and the service was outstanding. We can not wait to come back!

My fiancé and I stayed at the Inn at Laurita Winery for a painting retreat. I had to finish work as soon as I arrived, and Janis had us checked in right away, and I headed to room #5 to finish work for the day. We were very pleased to find such an awesome room. There was a group of us there specifically to paint that weekend, but my fiancé is not a painter and was there to keep me company and enjoy the weekend together. Janis was very accommodating to her and made her feel like one of the gang all weekend. Janis was helpful all weekend with anything we needed, and the breakfast each morning was outstanding. Great experience on a beautiful fall weekend!

My girlfriend Adrienne and I planned a trip to the laurita inn for our 5 year anniversary. It was the first place we thought of to celebrate such a memorable anniversary. This is our second trip there and we brought family members with us. Once again we weren’t disappointed and our family loved it there. We were met by Janis the inn keeper. Janis was wonderful as always, making us laugh and feel welcome. The food was delicious as always, fresh and homemade. We love the quaint rooms. Every detail is thought of. This inn was just adorable! Such sweet little touches everywhere (I don't want to give anything away!) And Janis was an amazing cook! We did the picnic basket package and our sandwiches and dessert were both amazing. Breakfast was incredible too! Overall such a cozy, romantic and sweet little getaway. We stayed in the purple room.

This was my second stay at the inn and It was, once again a delight! The rooms are decorated beautifully and exceptionally clean. We were a group of plain air painters and our stay was made all the more special by the attention to detail Janis provided. Her breakfasts were magnificent! Janis went over and above to ensure our experience was pleasant. Well recommended!

We did at night at The Inn at Laurita as a birthday present for me. During these tough times we haven’t traveled. This was a great place, close to home, to escape to. Janis was wonderful in greeting us. All sorts of precautions taken due to Covid. As we were checking in we mentioned that friends of ours had wanted to stay at the Inn but it was sold out. Janis looked and noted a last minute cancellation and told us to get our friends on the phone. They got the room. The hubby booked a massage for me in the day spa. So relaxing. We went to the winery for their Fall Fest and then brought some wine back with us where we sat out at the fire pit at the Inn with our friends. Janis came to check on us as we sat outside. We had Room 1. The hubby wanted me to have the best room in the house. I think he succeeded. Country charm. Our own front porch. It was a great escape. Breakfast was served to our room due to Covid restrictions. It was yummy. The cleanliness and precautions were outstanding (as a nurse I look around at all this). Guests wore their masks indoors in the commons areas. We will definitely return when we want a close escape from home. Thank you for this great experience.
