Started in 1960 and running in 2022 Tuesday through Thursday, August 9-11 from 3:00-9:00 pm, this event has all the things we’ve come to expect and love. Lots and lots of great food from a wide variety of countries. Music and dancing as well representing countries and cultures from all over the world on two different stages. We had pirogies, gyros and baklava. There is so much more offered including ice cream, funnel cakes apple turnovers. There is a play area for the kids with a number of bouncy house type play places. Well worth the trip. Parking is available at the McKeesport high school. Admission is a $2 donation per person.

Overpriced and pretty gross. Long lines, rude people. See photo of German booth 'platter' for $15 with 'haluski' that is buttered noodles with onion on top 😂
NO CABBAGE! Pierogies are Mrs. T's!!!

Always excited to go to International Village, I have been going since my big Italian family has been taking me as a child. Always brings up good memories of days past. Love the atmosphere and how it brings people together to share there ethnicity. Something we need more than ever! Now taking my daughter to experience what I have over the years breaks my heart to see it not have the same vibe. Not sure the reason. Maybe the people that made this so great have passed and others have not stepped in. I went the first day and some food was sold out already. How does that happen the first day? Food prices keep rising and quality and quantity of food keep dropping at some boths. A number of booths have disappeared over the years as well. There still are some pretty solid food booths that represent their culture well. Even though it's not the same I will keep showing up each year to support the community and watch the wonderful people performing on stage. Hopefully there will be a great comeback in years to come!

This festival used to be the best around. Been going for 40 plus years. This year's village was by far the worst we have ever been to. Instead of the churches making the food, they had restaurants making the food. If I wanted to eat at a restaurant, I would just go eat at the restaurant. The pierogies and stuffed cabbage that were made from the restaurant were the worst I have ever had, not to mention the prices were outrageous! Not going to step foot in that restaurant. A restaurant can't compete with church lady food. No pizza at the Italian booth. No lamb at the Croation booth. Food selections were not as plentiful as years past. It is pretty bad, when you stop at Mellon's Pub after leaving a food festival to get quality food. Do youself a favor and save your money. Go support a local restaurant instead. Will not be back until the churches come back and make the food.

There isn’t very much of true ethnic foods this year. What I had to eat from Polish booth was awful! Too many vendors serving food without heart and soul. Entertainment was too short and lacking the hometown feel. Very disappointed for the first time in 60+ years of attending. Sorry to say my last year due to the poor quality of the entire event. Way to go on the continuing decline of McKeesport!

I've been coming here for the better part of the last 20 years. Very fun, laid back family environment. Have activities for the kids, crafts being sold, ethnic booths selling food that makes it think it came from your grandparents table. Live music and dancers. It does get muddy if it rains but still a great time.

Good food, but on the expensive side. We dropped almost $40 for a small dinner for 2 Seniors.
