If you’re looking for a well-stocked grocery store and gift shop in Wailea, Maui, Island Gourmet Markets is the perfect place to visit. This store has everything you could possibly need, whether you’re shopping for essentials, grabbing a quick bite, or picking up souvenirs for friends and family back home. Island Gourmet Markets offers a wide variety of items, from T-shirts, hats, and luggage to fresh groceries, snacks, and an impressive selection of sushi and sashimi to-go. It has all the convenience of an ABC Store, but with the added benefit of a full grocery store experience. One of the highlights of shopping here is the fresh fruit selection—bursting with vibrant colors of red, green, and yellow. The abundance of pineapples is particularly impressive, as you’ll see in my pictures. Beyond the selection, the store is clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate. If you’re staying in the Wailea area and need a quick grocery run or want to grab a delicious meal within walking distance of your hotel, Island Gourmet Markets is definitely worth a stop.

My Uber driver recommended Island Gourmet Market if I was looking for some authentic poke, and to my surprise, this place has a little bit of everything. Is it a gift shop? A supermarket? A mini pharmacy? Yes, to all of the above! It’s truly an amazing one-stop shop.

I picked up some souvenirs for my family and grabbed a few breakfast items to take back to my hotel.

The market is incredibly clean, with plenty of staff on hand, and there’s just so much to look at and explore. It’s one of those places you could easily spend a lot of time in, enjoying all the different things they have to offer. Definitely worth a stop!

Great choices for food. The food selection is very diverse. For a group of 5, we had ordered 2 Ube pancakes, Kimchi Fried Rice, A sushi roll and malasadas and split all the dishes. Tip: if you are spending a whole day at the beach, you can order a couple dishes and bring it with you to snack on throughout the day. Plan ahead and bring a cooler if you need to keep items cold.

I appreciated that the island is conscious about food packaging. Wishing more places other than the state of Hawaii were like this. Most of this is packaging is compostable or recyclable.

Is market has everything! The poke is so good especially considering it’s about $17. Everything was fresh and they disclose if anything has been previously frozen. They have many toppings like ginger, sesame seed, green onion, furikake, and masago. There was no line and the staff is so kind.

They have seating but I took this photo in the parking lots because of the sun. Looks beautiful too!

This is a review just for the deli section of the store. This is an evolved ABC store, and I wish all ABC stores had the hot food sections like this. The poke was priced decent and we got a poke bowl with an extra container of poke as well. There was a good amount of plate lunches to choose from, and we needed up going with the loco moco which was drenched with gravy. I was told by many others that the breakfast was the best but we didn’t have opportunity to try it out since it stops at 11am and we always came in the afternoon. Be careful when you come during lunch because it’s a crazy mess of a crowd and very overwhelming to someone who is there for the first time. Follow the crowds and the signs so you know where and how to order

Decent place. Good for a quick bite. Tends to be crowded as it's surrounded in a resort-y area. Food and service is good. All credits to the hard working people. Seriously. So much going on back there just to make us happy.

I went today for lunch and enjoyed it although it was unusually busy because of spring break seeming to have started.

We affectionately refer to this store as 'The Hawaiian Whole Foods.' We love it here and always make it a point to stop in for a quick bite and check out the inventory. The made to order food is really much better than you might expect. And the portions, yeah you may want to split with a loved one. This is where we always get our Loco Moco and it more than enough for two to share. They also have a wide variety or pantry staples and beach needs.

Update: after emailing, they refunded the wrap, so giving back a star as I was otherwise pleased with the experience.

Food tastes quite good, but the wraps turned out to be half filled once opened! Borderline deceitful
