A beautiful and peaceful place to be surrounded by nature and get away from the noise and pollution of the city. It is a 3 min walk from the Penn campus, very clean, full of birds and squirrels. Plenty of benches to read, study, have lunch or just enjoy a peaceful afternoon.

A serene little "escape" from the really beautiful campus of UPenn. You can really take in your thoughts here and enjoy the nature. Turtles abound in this little, lush haven.
Visited when classes were not in session. So I'm not sure how busy this place might be during the school term. But it really hit the spot.

This place is beautiful. It is secluded, and has wooden picnic tables you can sit and have lunch at. The pond has dozens of turtles, a mini waterfall, koi fish, and so many trees. Good for relaxing, taking the kids, or having lunch.

Shady secret oasis on the U Penn campus with a waterfall and a historic biopond dating back to the 1890's as a research site for the university. The park is tricky to find. We overshot it twice even using apps. It's tucked behind the Lynch Laboratory building. Insider tip -- though there is no free parking there, you can park at nearby Woodlands Cemetery by the side of the driving loop inside and walk to this park. We spotted lots of turtles, birds and a wide variety of native plantings. There's a small event space you can rent as well.

I came because the reviews but I thought that's it? Just a little nice lake in the middle. Probably is nice for people that just work over there or want to see green in the middle of the city.

Secret oasis amidst the bustle of University City with multiple small trails, quiet seating areas, and a small bubbling pond with mini waterfall. Kids would have a field day exploring; it's separated enough from any traffic so it's quite safe for them to run around.
