Beautiful place to explore that is free of admission! I had visited late fall and most of the leaves had fallen, but not all! I can only imagine how wonderful it would be to visit in late spring/early summer. The people in the education center were very friendly and informative. They gave us a general overview of the trails and if you do them all, it's around 1.25 miles. I recommend flat shoes because there's a bit of an incline coming back up from the pond area. They, also, have a children's section and supply explorer vest for them too.

I came here on October 1st with a friend, and we had a lovely morning! It is a short walk around the arboretum with many steep hills. You can start in the gift shop or on the side of the building. It's paved, but not even so the whole walk isn't wheelchair friendly unless you are good at maneuvering uneven surfaces. Once we got to the end, we went to their gallery to see the artists' works they were showcasing. It was beautiful! I would return again!

Jenkins Arboretum & Gardens is a nice place to enjoy nature and walk paths through woods and around a pond. There is an area where pollinators may be found, and some interesting wood structures. The nicest walkways serpentine through wooded areas; especially pleasant on hot summer days. When we visited there was no charge for admission.

GORGEOUS treasure tucked away in an old forest shimmers just beyond developed area. This is an amazing gem with incredible staff! Greg was so sweet and even came out on a golf cart to attempt a rescue when a sudden downpour occurred. The trails are steep, but it’s a great walk! The pond is lovely. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

FREE admission is making this place extra cool. Must visit in spring and little nice hike is good for all seasons. Trails are narrow and good for families. Make sure to get one vest for your kids in the visitor center (free as well) which comes with binoculars and lil kaleidoscope so that the little ones can be engaged throughout.

Lovely nature, well nurtured. We visited in Summer - not the best time to see the blooms. However, it was still wonderful with the amazing tall trees just about everywhere. The lush greenery and the ever cooing birds was the attraction for us. The pond would be better watched during spring. The 1.2 miles of trail are well worth covering with enough time to spend and study. Will have to visit next spring again.

I visited this garden last week when I was touring gardens from the passport book available for free at many of them. They had a beautiful welcome center with an art display and very knowledgeable and friendly volunteers. I wish I would have come sooner in the year to experience the azaleas and rhododendron growing throughout the hillsides. Next year! I did enjoy their peaceful walk and view of their pond. Definitely worth it!!

A beautiful property with well-labeled plants and trees. The trails are easy to walk, the gift shop and nursery are well worth a look with healthy plants and unique gifts.
