Got there last minute and was about to bring my selection to the counter like they said over the speaker before being kicked out right after (not even a minute after the speaker announcement) sorry I came in last minute but why make that announcement if I can't even bring what was in my hands up to the counter. Maybe lock the doors 10 minutes before closing and let the remaining shoppers out if you're going to kick people out next time. :/ never had an experience like this here before and honestly really upset

Johnnie's is awesome! Better stocked than the lower 3 towns and everything doesn't cost an arm and a leg. The store was super clean, the employees were all very helpful and polite and, I never say this, but, it's always a pleasant experience shopping there.

Local, and nearly isolated, grocery store that covers most all the basics. BBQ closes at 7 pm, sadly. Could not find Tapatio hot sauce. Anything that they don't have, the car parts, hardware or healthfood store most often do. Or they don't. It's the nature of the location. Most will special order - I don't know if Johnnie's does.

I grew up in Boulder Creek and the store is still the same as I remember it as a child. We like to get the sausages from Johnny's not exactly the ones from behind the counter but there is a refrigerated section that has really nice quality sausages for breakfast. They have a good selection of tortillas and they have a brand of refried beans that we like . Also the prices are lower from other markets that we been to for the same products the organic Pizza frozen section Newman's is a good price they have a nice selection of ice cream. Not so much water we like the BPA free water bottles I can't really seem to find those there so we do go to different markets. Johnny does have the best prices I'd say we shop their frequently

Their entire milk/juice/cold storage area in the back of their store was at ROOM TEMPERATURE today.

An entire store’s inventory of cold goods are spoiled.

When I reported it to them directly they told me it “happens all the time, the circuit breaker goes out” and when I said they’d have to waste their entire cold storage room, they laughed and said “it would be fine”.

I told them they were going to get someone sick and they said “it’s fine - it’s always fine”.

This leads me strongly to believe that they are not only going to market those spoiled cold storage foods, but also that they do this regularly.

This place we make you sick or worse please don’t shop here. They sell only food that’s 2-3 days from spoilage at barely any discount.
