We loved our experience at Johnson’s Locust Hall Farm! We came for pumpkin, sunflower and zinnias picking. We stayed for the ambience, food, and local wine & beer. Great little market for the take-home treasures.

Our group was mid-sized, six adults and three kids and everyone was accommodated at the farm. I appreciate that they offer water and quart containers for the “you cut flowers”, something a farm we went to earlier this year did not provide. The hay ride was fully covered, so it was comfortable and a good duration. Kids loved the animals, they were clean and friendly. We saw the mini horses, donkey, goats, and chickens.

The farm offers many seasonal activities and we will be coming back to try them out. I’m happy we found Johnson Locust Farm.

Chose this particular orchard because it is dog friendly. Apples were plentiful and delicious mid October. All staff we came across were friendly and helpful. We were greeted upon entry and directed where to go for each activity along the way. Nice place to for a family outing with the dog. Remember to purchase tickets online in advance.

I don't even have the words - Locust Hall will forever hold a special place in our hearts. We visited on a weekday and it was beyond perfect! We would come here everyday of the week if we could. The farm is beautiful, everyone is so incredibly kind and the kids had the best day ever. I mean they really take care of every little detail here, from the wagons to pick pumpkins, the tables by the flowers for a peaceful lunch, the kids playground area and animals who are so well taken care of. Our kids didn't want to leave after spending 4+ hours here! The farm view feels straight out of a movie. Not to talk about the generosity and kindness of the employees and owners. Thank you for letting us have such a special day at your farm! We will absolutely be back soon!

I'm going to start by saying we are floral designers who have been in the industry for 13 years combined. We have worked alongside some of the best industry professionals in the area and Avery and the Johnson's Locust Hall Team are by far the best! Our wedding was perfect. But more importantly, the attention and care leading up to the day from Avery is what truly made the experience special and quite frankly emotional. We just went back to the venue to pick pumpkins and are still reveling in the emotions of the day. Such a sweet family and location. Our guests had such a wonderful time each space we entered. I could go on and on about how perfect every detail was but instead i'll just say book this venue for your wedding or event, you will have such heart filled memories the rest of your life.

Thank you Avery, Allie and the entire staff for giving us the best day of our lives!

Great location for picking pumpkins, fresh wildflowers & sunflowers, and produce picking based on the season. A short ride away from more populated areas makes it a bit less crowded with plenty of open space for kids to run and play. Outdoor grill serving quality lunch staples and several clean bathroom options round out the convenience factor.

Shared my son’s wedding day 11-2-2024 at Johnson’s. The most beautiful Farm venue in the Tri State area. As a family in the music Business we have seen so many venues this one is outstanding. If you are looking for a farm house venue visit Locas Hall. From getting ready in the 1800 homes all done in period perfect decore, comfortable like you were in your grandmothers home. They have all you could think of. Perfect amount of space for both Mothers and bridesmaids. Lots of mirrors! Lots of places to hang dresses. Place to have snacks or breakfast laid out. Looking out the windows is lovely! Fresh cut grass in the breeze not dirty or sick farm animals that could be at some we have seen in the past at a few. So very clean! Lots of outlets. Temperature of the rooms were good with air conditioning or heat. Shower if needed. Bath tub too! Guys down stairs had rooms of their own. Room to relax. Play some cards. Iron what they forgot to!
Everyone made sure we got to where we needed to be o time. Arch that family chose to put flowers on was so nice. Lovely chairs for guest. Some places said they would do hay bails. Both the cocktail building and reception building were beautiful stone. People just walked around looking at the buildings. Food was prepped in an area no one saw but was super clean. Everything was smooth and lovely! On time. Photos photographer gave me a sneak peek up are going to be just gorgeous. Back yard where we had a cigar bar was so pretty! Heaters were provided. Lighting perfect. Lighting shining through windows gave a sparkle. So easy to deal with them. Everyone that works there were beyond respectful. Like family. Thank you! A pleasure !

DON’T BUY THE PUMPKIN PIE!! It was very weird and consistency was kind of like pudding? NOT worth the $20.
Otherwise - this is a MUST GO TO place!!!! Best pumpkin place I’ve ever gone to. Live music. Great food. Go go go!

Wow and Wow! Beautiful ambiance, enchanting venue for a wedding or anything special. Love the county store, can't wait for the berry picking in May and wine tastings. There is an event schedule for Fridays on the Farm, complete with music. While it's completely serene, it's like peaceful fun!...Can't beat that. Met some family members who own Locust Hall...they are so welcoming and genuine.
