Wonderful venue. The room was spacious and comfortable. The food was excellent, both the dinner and the breakfast. The lounge is small and cozy. The bar is well equipped—their bourbon selection is quite good. Overall, why stay in a cookie-cutter hotel where you pay extra for breakfast or you get a complementary not-very-good breakfast? This breakfast included a yogurt parfait, a chocolate muffin, quiche, and a salad, all freshly prepared, along with plenty of good coffee. I can’t recommend this place more highly. It is a gem!

I've visited Wilton countless times, and it never fails to exceed my expectations! My girlfriend and I recently did the The five-course meal that was thoughtfully paired with exquisite wines from Willamette Valley. It truly elevates the dining experience and expands our taste horizons beyond the valley. Ethan has really outdone himself with the events, menus, and wine selections, ensuring that everyone can enjoy this amazing culinary journey. Highly recommend!

I had an amazing experience at the Joshua Wilton House! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the real fireplace set the mood and the food was absolutely delicious. The halibut fish dinner was outstanding! A special shoutout to Ethan for his exceptional service and to Ryan, the bartender, for his fantastic drinks. I highly recommend this place and can’t wait to return!

As always everything was phenomenal. The perfect setting for a galentines dinner with friends and the menu reflected the occasion. Drinks & food were amazing, as always. Service was 10/10 even being a busy night we never waited around for our food or our server. Can’t wait for our next dinner here!

Evening meal was fabulous! The spinach salad was loaded with glazed pecans and the Rosemary bread was warm and delicious. Rockfish with fingerling potatoes and petite asparagus was cooked to perfection and plated beautifully. Dessert was a delight! Creme brulee that will bring you back for more!! Stellar service and cozy ambiance. Elegant experience all the way!

My hubby and I were out of town and looking a place to celebrate our anniversary. Made a reservation and from start to finish we’re not dissatisfied. The staff were stellar and the food was excellent. Highly recommend this amazing little spot for a nice dining experience.

Probably the classiest dining establishment in Harrisonburg! This is a small one of a kind restaurant - a limited menu to ensure excellence. Our entrees - the duck breast and the seared scallop - were fresh, crisp, and seared to perfection. (It should be noted that scallops are generally to be seared on both sides - mine was only seared on the side facing up) Prices for food were reasonable for this level of establishment. Server was attentive to every detail. There was a drink special for Halloween called ecoplasm(?) which my partner said was delicious. He later paired his duck with a glass of house Cabernet , which was priced above what he expected for a house wine

The service at Joshua Wilton House was exceptional! Our room was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. The breakfast was a gourmet treat with two courses and dinner was amazing! The weather was beautiful while we were in Harrisonburg so we were also able to make the most of the porches and patio. We loved it!
