We purchased 12 birds from this farm and upon unboxing we realized that were extremely ill, malnourished, and disease ridden. The animals were so bad some almost featherless - the owner of the farm- had to come pick them up this morning. A family member of ours purchased some birds as well, and some are already deceased. The owner admitted to having 1500 birds over capacity and a bacterial infection among his flock. The owner (aware of the problem) promised to refund for the contaminated items purchased such as hay, bedding, nutrients, etc for the extremely filthy and infected birds, that could spread and kill other animals including wild birds, but is now refusing. He made us aware that we can have future bacterial infestations because of this. He is selling eggs meat and live birds with bacterial infections knowingly.

Very happy to have a business with them. I ordered 40 chickens with them and his hard working employee worked so hard to do the delivery in the same day. Super nice and trustworthy people. Chickens look great and healthy. I have been purchasing and raising chickens for the past 5 years and these are the best looking chickens I have ever purchased so far. Thanks again for your help

This man is selling chickens that are putting the public’s health at risk. Chickens are sick, over crowded, this place is disgusting and inhumane. These chickens are so sickly I wouldn’t dare even eat an egg from them. Absolutely despicable this place. Hopefully this keeps someone else from getting sick or losing their entire flock due to bringing home chickens from here!

Driving past the farm during the outrageous egg price hike inspired me to stop Modi was so generous with his time and knowledge and you could sense his love for animal husbandry. I got several & was surprised at the joy they give me. And eggs! Thank you.

What a wonderful farm!
Went there on Saturday to get fresh chickens to make a Colombian Sancocho, which is a traditional soup.

I couldn’t have been more fortunate to find Jorge who helped me select the right ones for the soup. He was absolutely the friendliest and most caring person ever. You can really tell he loves taking care of the animals and super helpful with his customers.

Would definitely recommend Kahana farms for farm fresh, free range chickens and eggs!

Shame...Monti seemed like a nice guy ..... I rented an excavator and did a decent amount of work at this place..... I think I only charged him 60 bucks an hour Plus the rental..... Worked a couple weekends up there..... I didn't break anything..... cleared a lot of land.... Only got one payment to cover the rental..... He burnt me pretty good..... Not trying to give a sob story..... However, I don't think I've ever had a customer that was unsatisfied with me including Mr. Monti himself...... I'm certainly not perfect but damn did I get a lot of work done for him and I know he definitely had the upper hand on the business deal...... I gave him a huge break on the labor rate because he said I could ride my Motocross bike on his property at my convenience....... Never got paid so I never rode my bike.....

We live in town and now only buy eggs here. The animals are living a wonderful life, free roaming and eating off the land and being treated well. This is a very healthy and ethical way to eat eggs. Firewood is great too. When you guys offer tours let me know! Impressed.

Like this place a lot. Fresh farm eggs from free roaming chicken, and possibly while you are there you can get to see roaming goats, cows, horses and several rabbits they keep in the yard. My LO loves to return there so we get our fresh eggs. The guys looks after the place is such a friendly person. And he really loves the animals. Glad we have this local place so near.
