Since 2011, Kane has been an NJ craft brewery staple in avid beer drinker fridges and bar taps. It’s wild to think it’s been 10 years since our first visit — the craft beer world has exploded since 2015, but Kane’s stayed strong by doing what they do best: brewing great beer.

We sipped on Winter Daydream Bock, at 7.2% with rich malt character, soft cocoa and caramel notes, and just enough spice to keep things interesting. A "cozy" beer if that is a category.

The taproom is a darker, and a more high end dining experience feel than other breweries — perfect size for small to medium sized groups looking to wind down with a board game or a post-work pint. While their Head High might be the most well-known beer NJ, don’t sleep on the rest of the lineup. There is so much more on offer.

We were traveling through NJ and looking for a brewery that was open earlier than 4pm on a Friday. We were happy to find that Kane was open at noon and stopped in. Due to the time of day, it was mostly empty and nice and quiet. They do not offer flights but do offer small sized pours which my wife and I ordered so we could try multiple things without filling up or over indulging since we had to keep traveling afterwards. All of the staff were friendly, the beers we tried were very good, the whole space was cozy and very clean. I’d be glad to stop in again when driving through the area.

Definitely one of the best breweries I’ve been to. If you are IPA lover, this is it. They offer various IPAs by different themes, and use of different hops (5, 6 or more hops), achieving complex but integrated flavors and sensations.

While the exterior might not immediately catch your eye, don't let that fool you—inside, the space is warm, welcoming, and full of character. The friendly atmosphere is perfect for enjoying a great beer with friends.

It’s the kind of place where you feel right at home, and the passion for craft brewing really comes through in each glass. Definitely a great place to spend an afternoon, and I'll be back for sure!

Been here multiple times and the tap room is beautiful! Their beers, no matter what you try are always 10/10. Their stouts especially are incredible! I do wish they did flights but are always willing to give samples of what you want to try. One of the best breweries in the state!

A top rated brewery in the area and for good reason. The brewery is clean and inviting, with tons of areas to sit both inside and out.

They offer a wide selection of different styles with their own unique tastes and are constantly switching up their offerings.

When I went, I got a flight and the stouts they had on tap were some of the best I’ve had. Really rich and smooth flavors.

Chill brewery! Definitely IPA forward, but there were still options for those looking for other varieties. The beers we tried were good overall, and next time I'd want to try the unique bottles for offer. There's no "bar" area to sit at which was a disappointment, but the overall space is very nice.

Long line: so, I really like Kane's beers. Can't lie, coming here was a lot of fun and not technically planned, but overall we had a great experience. Their barrel aged beers are amazing. It's great that they keep everything open, and we saw some very active fermentation happening. I only wish their location was closer to me. Of note, it's kind of hidden, so check the photo out for a heads up.
