Went down to the Kapaa bike path with our family for a couple of days. You will get a bad vibe from the area with drug dealing around and in almost every bathroom. Its strange there are kids around this area we saw them on the soccer field and they allow this heavy non friendly environment were they just hang out all day. We wont take our family there again we can easily spend our time and money in a more friendly area.

Kapaa drug infested bike path bathrooms, can't use them drug dealers use them for their drug store all day long. I walk my dog their every day and can't use our tax payers bathrooms by kapaa beach park. Seams that everyone know who they are except the police. They hang out all day long in the bathroom and vibe everyone. A big drop off and drug distribution point. Try cleaning it up if you want a nice town and island. Warning familys should stay away.

Tried to hike the trail to The Queens Bath. This is supposed to be a public area with public trailhead parking. We arrived at the trailhead in Princeville which seems to be in an affluent area around a golf course. The lot was blocked off and a gentleman informed us that "They" had closed the parking area to deter hikers using the trail. He told us we could park in his drive for a donation of $20. Couldn't tell us who "they" are. I guess this is what Aloha spirit means in Hawaii. We call in extortion where I come from.
