We booked this with no expectations, figuring it may be an overpriced tourist trap (and we are, indeed, tourists) but figured we’d check it out. Can’t say enough what a great experience this was. The tour was informative, our guide was hilarious and charming, the drinks and rum tasting were amazing. The tasting was, by the way, in the middle of the jungle on premise which was shaded and beautiful. Would recommend this to anyone!

I am so glad we decided to book this tour. Fletcher and Tanji were the best tour guides and provided a lot of historical information as well as great explanations of just about everything we saw. Also a great comedy show. The rum was amazing as well as the cocktails they made us. Will 100% recommend this tour.

Went on Kauai Rum Safari yesterday that was Fantastic! Props out to Rick and Tiny for an educational, fun & entertaining tour of their wonderful property. Please forgive the preponderance of pictures, but it's difficult to cut them down. They grow such a vast variety of fruits, trees & plants as well as rescuing many animals 😀

We signed up for this tour last minute and are so glad that we did. Our guides Tiny and Rick took us around the beautiful plantation property, served up amazing rum and cocktails, and were two of the funniest and coolest guides I’ve ever had. You definitely get a decent amount of rum, and get to see all kinds of animals and plants. If you’re on the east side of the island, give this tour a shot.

We went on this tour on Oct 31. We had so much fun! Kai and Tiny was a great team. They were informative and funny. We toured the property as well as two nice locations for our two cocktails and rum tasting. Side note: plan time to arrive early or after while the shops are open in the house. You can see what the rooms were when the house was a home...grab sheet in foyer/front door entrance.

I had an absolutely unforgettable experience on our recent safari rum tour with Rick and Tiny! From the moment we arrived, they were both incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights about the agriculture and rum, making every part of the tour both exciting, funny, and educational. After learning about local fruit and seeing different (very cute) animals on property, we got to enjoy tastings of different rums, which were genuinely good. The drinks were also some of the best tasting drinks we had the entire trip. This really was a 10/10 experience and I would recommend it to anybody visiting the island if they like to drink!

We did the rum tour with Fletcher and Tanji. It was simply amazing! Both of them were extremely informative and well educated on all things Rum and the tour of the grounds. Hilarious wit and banter between each other and the guests on the tour. I highly recommend this tour. Very reasonably priced and was top 3 of all things we did in Kauai.

Make no mistake, this tour is all about the rum. It's a great time, and well worth the cost, but if you don't enjoy rum, you might not agree. My wife and I, however, really enjoyed the tasting and the mixed rum drinks provided. The guide (name started with T, but can't recall the rest) and driver (Tiny) are also the mixologists and were excellent in their dual roles. They made a great team and were equally hilarious and informative. The tour included interesting information about the many plants and animals on the plantation, history, and use. The highlight were two stops at open-air "bars" for samples of different types of rum, a mai tai, and a second more complex drink (varies by tour). Ours was fantastic. I highly recommend this tour for those who like rum; but eat before you go!
