if you buy a property and make renovations more than 30% of bought price you have to raise the house in Keansburg NJ. Raising house cost a lot of money here due to flood. Giving knowledge for free. Building department people are same as DMV so good luck guys. Just want to say if you plan to invest you have to raise houses, in most cases. THe building department in Keansburg is requiring people to raise house thats why they are coming up with rules like renovations more than 30% house will require elevating house. This is not where they stop, I am thinking they will increase flood insurance on purpose or you raise your house. So be careful and Good Luck

Had a issue with a parking ticket which I was trying to get resolved. Website was not functioning and took several days to actually get through to someone. I believe the name of the person I talked to was Sharon. Just felt like she was extremely unprofessional in the way she talked and the tone she used. Her exact words “you need to not talk, everyone is always trying to talk”. Has a service member I’ve never had to deal with anyone speaking like this. Just felt like she was extremely rude.
