This is the best green market on the West side for locally grown vegetables, fruits, coffee, teas, and breads. The quality and selection of fresh food far surpass the other markets that cater to tourists. But here locals and tourists can partake in the absolutely incredible produce and offerings from the island.
If you're seeking exotic fruit, there's a good chance you'll find many interesting varieties. I regularly find dragon fruit (when in season), shareill avocado, star fruit, star apple, eggfruit, soursop, jaboticaba, lulo, and more depending on the time of year.
If you have not tried local strawberry papaya, you're missing out.
A few of the fruit vendors are organic and sell excellent chocolate and other treats, including some vegan and gluten free.
For coffee lovers, be sure to grab a bag of White Dog coffee. Their 100% Kona beans are divine, robust and not acidic, for a very fair price (real Kona coffee is not cheap).
You can also find some prepared foods , juices, and flowers. Enjoy!

This farmers marker opens every Saturday. Many local farmers bring their products with good condition and reasonable price. Famers market is one of good places you may want to visit for your visiting in Hawaii because you could experience their lives and also gain good products with good price. This market is one of them. There will be enough parking spots, and the size of the market is not that big. Probably you will stay for about one hour to visit each store on the market.

Nice produce and craft market currently only Sat mornings in the shopping center parking lot. We particular enjoyed the baked dessert treats. Because we got there late, we did miss out on several sold out items. Guess we needed to be earlier birds…

Smaller than Kona Farmer's market, but it was fresher. They had a nice variety of fruit. One vendor had some vegetables; the lacinato kale looked good. We purchased some starfruit, avocado, apple- banana and some fresh farmed shrimp. They also had prepared food, coffee, teas, and kombucha for purchase and sampling. One vendor had some Lulo juice to sample. It was delicious! Too bad this farmer's market is only on Saturdays!

Buy directly from growers for products grown locally. Not the cheapest, but about the best quality possible. I come to Kona on Friday night whenever possible to get there Saturday morning. The best place to stock up for a trip.

Outstanding Farmers Market where you can find an incredible selection of local kine produce, handmade baked goodies, amazing preserves, freshly caught fish, and Big Island beef. Wonderful spot for people watching, too!

Great farmers market! On holidays and wanted to check out some local foods. Tons of local and super fresh produce here. Great prices and get exactly what you want and the quantity you want. Try the Wall Ranch beef from one of Hawaii's own producers. Prepared some for supper that night and it was a hit! Delicious! Go check it out.
