I was six hrs late thanks to my previous receiver taking eight hrs to unload and have paperwork ready. They are easy to find and they put me in a door immediately and had my eight pallets unloaded right away. One of the whse workers told me it was unacceptable that I was late even thou I told him I was held hostage at my previous unload. He didn't care. Everything went quick and smooth here probably bc I was the only truck there. My advice to whse workers that load and unload trucks is don't make a big deal about anything especially don't act like ur being overworked when a truck shows up late when that's the only truck there for an hour and a half. I gave you something to do. There were three guys inside and all three times I went inside they weren't doing anything productive except the one who had to call and register my comdata check. But yet he complained about me being late. Who cares I'm the only truck here right now. You have nothing else to do apparently. I think you can park on the side of the st outside the gate for as long as you need. I did for two hours. Or the cross st is a dead end which you can back into. Or there's two truck stops three miles away but being close to Tampa Im pretty sure they probably stay full. I just dh 100 miles north for parking to be closer to my next pickup. I give four stars only bc they didn't have a real restroom inside.
