The food here is obviously incredible. After working here, I would have people tell me all the time that they had drove an hour from town just to try it. The service is also amazing. All the people who work there are all such friendly, kind, positive people. The owners have really created an environment where everyone feels like family. I haven’t worked here in months, and I still feel like family. Truly an amazing place.

My review is mainly about the unscrupulous way that this establishment imposes a tip (15% of entire order and taxes). I order a portion of fish & chips and after scanning my card, the screen moved fast to the tiping panel then on a blink of an eye the tip was added to my order and ....I was asked if I need a receipt.
After checking it, I discovered the extra charge. Totally unprofessional but ...hei ...someone has to make a living!
I asked the young lady at the counter about the charge and she stayed that "there is an option that you can cancel it...if you want".
First of all , that should be and option that I can choose if I want to pay a tip, without being imposed by the seller.
Second, everything is happening to fast so ..I know time is money but are my money.
In the end, is not about the 2, 3 extra bucks that you might pay when you order, but is about the way how they do it. Shame on you !!!
If she would have apologies for it or try to make it up somehow I would might say is a mistake but unfortunately they didn't because that's how they do it....you have to have some guts to do it this way...but will mostlikely not get you to far on life ...Aloha!!!

We just got the classic fish and chips and they were excellent! They seemed like normal fish and chips so I’m not sure what made them “Kiwi style,” but delicious nonetheless. Service was a little bit slow, but that’s not unexpected for freshly made food!

Fantastic! Tastes very similar to the fish and chips I had in Australia! I’d go here as often as possible. It’s a must at the PCC. The fish had a good flavor (not too fishy) and the batter is amazing! The chips are also great— some crunch and some substance. The tartar sauce was a perfect match with the fish and chips. You don’t need anything else! Highly recommend.

The next best thing to fish and Chips from New Zealand - is the Kiwi Style Fish and Chips here in Laie. The portions are huge - we ordered 2 of the family meals and it was able to feed 6 grown adults and 5 kids. The fish, calamari, and chips were nice and crispy. If you visit the Polynesian Culture Center - you must grab a nice meal from here. It’s one of the best food trucks on the North Shore.

I couldn’t go without sharing my experience today with lunch. I’m a local who is quite pregnant (😂) and craving salty fish and chips like you’d never understand. Every employee here was extraordinarily patient and kind to me, they even threw on some extra fish to my plate out of pure aloha spirit. Thank you for making my whole day! A great food truck located in the marketplace just outside of the Polynesian Cultural Center. It was a great lunch stop for us and we enjoyed all of the food we had.
