We had a fabulous dinner at Koast with excellent service by Jason and team. Every bite of food was tasty and beautiful. We were lucky to get a Red Parrotfish fried whole, a special treat. The dry aged NY Strip was fork-tender and super flavorful. The evening ended with a delicious Basque Cheesecake that blew our minds and was more than enough for 4. We’ll definitely be back.

Great food and service! Met the owner Dave and his wife Alicia! Must get the crispy calamari with the fried pig ears and if you’re a meat lover get the dry aged seaweed wrapped wagyu beef!!
The cabbage with the uni butter was phenomenal as well as the mashed potatoes which had a thicker consistency as if it was mixed with poi or some sort of other starch.
The hours listed on Google are incorrect
It’s 3-5pm for happy hour once they get their liquor license in 3/25 and dinner starts at 5pm through 8:30pm
Best wishes for your new restaurant Dave and Alicia!!!

Koast holds a special place in our hearts as we dined there during our honeymoon, and it was an unforgettable experience! The food was exceptional, with the calamari & pig’s ears, uni cabbage being my absolute favorites, bold, flavorful, and perfectly executed. The service was impeccable, making our special trip even more memorable. Highly recommend for an incredible dining experience!

So good, great addition for Wailea! Highly recommend, well everything 🙂 We love the Crispy calamari with crispy pig ears, cabbage with uni butter, farm pork main entree and the hanger steak! I asked for chili oil and their homemade chili oil is so yummy. Hopefully they will get their liquor license soon and can serve more drinks.

Having dined at all the top resorts in Wailea—Four Seasons, Kea Lani, and Grand Wailea—we can confidently say that Koast is the best restaurant in the area. The food is way more flavorful and a better value. The management is next level too. They made sure we had an amazing experience. This is a restaurant that we can go to every day of the week. Thanks again Dave!

This new restaurant is great! Their mains, sides, and mocktails were all pretty unique and tasty. I particularly enjoyed the ube horchata and surf & turf (~$155 market price). My only dislike was the fried dough dessert, which wasn't on-par with the rest of the quality of the dishes we ate all night.

It also seems like they're also getting their liquor license in the next few weeks, so that's good news for everyone that doesn't want to bring their own bottle.

Hands down, this was the best meal we had during our babymoon in Maui. I had no idea veggies could taste THIS good. The charred leek starter and cabbage with uni butter were my two favorites, while my husband loved and devoured the spaghettini and whole fried fish. You really can't go wrong with any dish here — everything is so fresh, so flavorful, and plated oh so beautifully.

We came with our one-year-old, which meant early dinner, which meant beautiful sunset views. Ask for a seat outside on the patio! The girls at the front were so sweet and welcoming, and the service was attentive throughout. The restaurant itself is truly stunning and perfect for any occasion.

I still think about our feast at Koast and tell everyone I know heading to Maui they have to make a reservation here. Counting down the days til we can return and explore more of the menu and cocktails!

My husband and I were fortunate enough to get reservations the first night it opened and they were well worth the wait! Service was amazing! They were helpful with recommendations. Food was amazing and cooked to perfection! The atmosphere was amazing, with the sunset in the distance! We ordered the Kale appetizer, which was a nice starter. We followed it with the ribeye steak and chicken entree. They were both cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back.
