If you like great food, local ingredients and very cool and clever ideas for food, this is the place.
The service is terrible. The two young ladies working behind the counter that think it's much more important to carry on their conversation than to attend to the customers standing them in front of them waiting. This goes out especially to the girls working at 10 :30 on Monday, March 3rd. 2025

So I decided to stop by here today since it’s on my way home. I stoped in at about 3 to 3:30 and I was the only customer in the store there may have been one other customer. I counted 5 workers. As i browsed the store not one employee ever greeted me. Only one employee even said anything to me the whole 7 to 10 min I was in the store and that was the cashier as I was leaving. I even stood in front of the deli counter where 2 employees were the third and i believe fourth employee.was doing something in the back but you could still see me at the counter. Finally after standing there with no acknowledgement whatsoever ever i decided to leave. I bought a soda but was going to buy a plate or poke bowl but most of the employees did not seem to want to help me so i left. I was also still in my work clothes which is a nice aloha shirt , slacks and , dress shoes. The one lady at the register was pleasant. And did ask if i wanted something to which i answered no. I work in customer service so the way you treat a customer tells me a lot about the business. I will tell you straight these guys are a disgrace to the name kuau store. I remember when they appreciated local customers. I guess the new owners don’t. That’s fine me and my Ohana will not be shopping here. We will take our money elsewhere. Definitely not recommended. Lots of other places with way more Aloha !

I come in here often and there are a few people who really make this place so special. The level of friendliness and relatability is unmatched. I feel like I am visiting with a friend each time. The deli is amazing and I love everything they make.

The food was pretty good. I loved my poke. My husband’s sandwich was fine. But, just one of the workers at the shop was not that nice to us. If I will go back around there, I might stop by this shop. I just wish they can be nicer to their customers.

Very nice place to stop by before driving the road to Hana.
Good coffe and plenty of healthy food to take with you for the long ride to Hana.

Quoya and Maya were awesome and so nice and helpful! I got a protein warrior, cold brew/smoothie, kale salad, and a Poké bowl, and everything is so delicious! Love this place!
