Hawaiian grown $5 mangos... from Ecuador. Delicious, but the half scrubbed-off label left a sour taste in the mouth.

This road side fruit stand is right outside of the Ritz Carlton Turtle Bay Resort.

They have sorts of tropical fruits, whole and precut. The folks can also chop up a coconut on ice perfect on a hot day.

If you are lucky, the shaved ice stand might be open and it’s always great treat.

Pull off the main road and make a pitstop on the North Shore.
