Most unique plants available in Nevada County... all plant nerds must see this place!If you are lucky enough to catch the owner Kurt personally, you will not be disappointed... as he is very knowledgeable and his passion for plants is contagious.

The staff is always knowledgeable, friendly, and excited to help you find that perfect plant for that spot in your landscape. You know, that spot where you need that little something special, something unique, something for you and your guests to enjoy. Whether I'm just browsing for inspiration or shopping for that something special, I always have a great experience at Kurts Garden. Go check it out for yourself! Kurt and his staff are amazing! We recently bought a new house and had lots of questions about what would grow best in different sections of our yard. They spent an hour giving great advice, including which trees to plant later in the season (they could of just sold them to us then, but they care as much as we do about these plants flourishing in our yard! ) This will be my go to nursery forever!

Not only is the storefront great, but Kurt himself is so helpful. My husband and I have called a few times to ask for advice with our fruit trees and camellias and he’s always been so happy to help us over the phone. So appreciated for newbies trying to maintain a happy & healthy garden!

Kurt rocks the landscaping world. My husband and I have built 3 houses and have gone through a number of landscapers only to be disappointed every single time until now.
After our first meeting with Kurt we were impressed with his knowledge, professionalism and personality. He delivered exactly what he promised at a fair price. He transformed our front yard to a beautiful and welcoming place to our home. We cannot thank him enough for the work that he and Jay did in a timely manner. Do not waste your time seeking others just call Kurt and you will be completely satisfied. We are extremely anxious as we prepare to tear out our backyard and let his creative juices flow. I recently had my front yard landscaped by Kurt's Garden and I am thrilled by the result. Kurt did a beautiful job with expertise and care; the placement of rocks and plants is perfect. We relied on Kurt's vision and he far exceeded our expectation. His knowledge of plants and how to combine them for the best look was so professional. Kurt was super generous and loaned us about 20 plants that we used as decor for a charity event. I was really happy with the selection of palms even up here in the mountains! The knowledge of Kurt and his staff in terms of plants, and what will do well in this area was really great! My next plants are coming from Kurt's!
