We order a table for seven, the table wasn't ready, sat at the bar, little disappoint for beginning... Then we got our table, it took time until the waiter even came to us, and his English was not so understandable, 2nd disappoint - they were out of coke - but the food was good, fresh, and very well served. The restaurant was very dark, little light we couldn't even read the menu... My spinach risotto was excellent.

Delicious food, friendly and efficient service, small family atmosphere. The valet parking was welcome as it's a neighborhood establishment with very little available street parking. Highly recommend you to visit!

As a southerner visiting the north for my birthday, I earnestly looked forward to experiencing an authentic Italian restaurant. And boy oh boy, was I not at all disappointed! From the greeting at the door, the service provided by the wonderful server, and THE FOOD was everything I could have wish for and more. By nature, I am not one to give reviews but this time, I had to give a huge thumbs up! I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who loves authentic Italian cuisine. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I've lived in JC for 5years and recently discovered this place by accident which is 5mins drive from my house. The experience was great, the service was excellent and quick, the long time patrons are like family to the staff. They provide you with a shared house salad and bread before you order. For starters, we shared eggplant rotallinni, and for dinner, we had lobster ravioli, shrimp scampi over linguine. Whit wines were our choice of drinks; Sauvigon Blanc and Pinot. The dessert was on point. The tiramasu was exactly how I liked it with a cup of cafe and my love had Italian cheesecake, which was also good. Our meals were affordable and had the perfect ambiance for date night. Small parking lot but there is also street parking. I saw a sign for valet parking but did not inquire.

Old school, new school—call it what you want, but this Italian restaurant is simply amazing! The food is absolutely top-notch and truly represents the Jersey City Westside area in the best way possible.

If you find yourself on the west side of New Jersey, do yourself a favor and stop by this wonderful spot. It’s hands down the best Italian food in the area, and the experience is worth every minute. Highly recommend!

Delicious home cooked family style Italian food in a home setting (what a vibe!).

Service was average, but the food, old school neighborhood feel, and friendly guests more than made up for it. The bread and salad were very good, the chicken parm was top - as many reviews have already mentioned, & the pizza was ok (though I preferred the pastas, entrees and appetizers).

Parking is either valet or street parking (tough).

The 1st place I ever took my wife too almost 20 years ago and it did not disappoint again. Took the family here for Mother's day and everything was perfect. Everybody loved the food and drinks. Thanks again Laico's for still having it
