This is the spot for pandulce, delicious! Pre seasoned meats are good too. The salsas, guacamole, and ceviche is spicy! Not good for me but my husband likes spicy and he thinks their really good. The cake was, seriously, the best! Their expensive, but I still shop here, it’s worth it.

I’ve been a regular at this location for 11 years, but today had a truly uncomfortable experience while ordering takeout food from their Kitchen. I always order a kid’s bean, rice, and cheese burrito for my daughter, which their menu says costs $5.99. When I checked my receipt they had charged me $9.19 for a kid’s burrito. I went back to the counter to ask the same lady that had originally helped me if the prices had increased. She said no, that the price was correct. While I was waiting for my food I looked over the menu, and the price listed was $5.99. When they called my number, I asked the lady and another guy that was at the counter why my kid’s burrito said $5.99 on the menu, and I was charged differently. At this point, she said it was actually $6.99, and the fees on the menu hadn’t been updated. Then the other guy said that it was $7.99 and the fees hadn’t been updated. Honestly, these people are so unprofessional and have no sense of customer service. I basically told them to keep the extra money they unfairly charged me plus the tip that I initially left. The point is if your menu says $5.99 then be transparent and charge that amount. This place scams and overcharges people. Too bad it is so close to my house!!

Las Montañas has always been my to-go place for many occasions. When I was in high school, we would always order their Tres Leches cake, which never disappointments. With this, their Pan Dulce, also called Las Conchas that are shell-like pastries. I suggest the pink and yellow ones if you are trying for first time! My previous visit was on 6/15/2024 to order a chocolate birthday cake for a close classmate from my high school, and I can say that quality here is something you cannot find elsewhere! Will come again!! 😀

Had the worst experience at this location today . I went to las montañas in San Pablo with my daughter and a toddler trying to find a candy that my daughter has been requesting and I notice that the security guard was watching us all the time . I had more groceries and right at the checkout line I noticed I did not have the debit card on me. Then I asked BLANCA S to hold the stuff and that I would go to the car to grabmy card. With a long face she replied OK. The security guy even followed me outside. I came back and I had to stand in line and wait for Blanca to assist 2 more customers , she did not even have the courtesy to just let me swipe the card since she had already rang everything up…
I felt harassed by security.PLEASE TEACH YOUR EMPLOYER CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. Because if it wasn’t for us customers they wouldn’t even have a job to perform. Their paycheck is from us regular and non reg customers.

Come here for great burritos at the taqueria. They have tacos, tortas, and other items as well. They have tables if you want to eat in.
While you wait, go get some freshly made tortillas to take home. They're great.
Shelves are stocked full of stuff, and the place is clean and organized.

I have been coming here for years i have never been treated so poorly. I went today October. 11 at 3:20pm and as i checked out at register 7 by a Maria C. I was obviously a little flustered with my daughter and i must have not heard her when she asked if i wanted a bag because i did not hear her. Im almost 100% she didn’t ask. When i finished paying she just started at me in a very rude way and i said im sorry can i get a bag and she proceeded to tell me in a very rude voice. “Thats why i asked you if you wanted a bag” I apologize and said i didnt hear you and then she continued to try and check out the next person and i had to ask her well can i buy a bag please. And it seemed like i asked her to bag it up and put it in my car. I asked for 2 and she then tells me “it all fits in one” and practically threw everything in a bag after i told her i wanted to pack it my selfie because she mixed meet with my vegetables. So rude. She is a latina lady with blond/ orange hair. (The communication was all in spanish)

My poor review comes from their packaged chicken. True it is sold at a low price, but the chicken spoiled after a few days in my freezer.
