Beautiful farm. The staff is Very friendly, personable and knowledgeable. They answered all of our questions. They were able to explain and show us every aspect of the chocolate making process so that everyone had a clear understanding. Their chocolate is an Excellent product.
I am definitely recommending this tour. I honestly didn’t expect such a wonderful tour/education for such a low price.

Fantastic Tour! We went on several different farm tours this trip, and by far, this was our favourite one! Our tour guide was so knowledgeable not only about the farm, but horticulture in general. The covered mini bus was a great way to get around the farm. We appreciated the farm store and washrooms at the end of our tour. I would highly recommend!

It's Chocolate Heaven! So glad, I took the farm tour! Even though, I love chocolate, I didn't know the process, from tree, to enjoy. Beautiful setting, above Hilo. Very easy directions, on Google maps! Our tour guide, was really friendly, welcomed any questions. After the tour, it was tasting time, yippee! I think, all ages would enjoy this tour, very little walking. A nice gift store, to take treats home!

Simply superb; very immersive experience. Great value for our money, informative, and fun! We got to taste a variety of chocolates and we got driven around on a cart. We enjoyed seeing the whole farm. The
incredible view was a lovely touch! We had a tour guide named Leigh; she was very bubbly and made the tour so much fun. Her infectious positivity made us all smile.

The view was awesome overlooking Hilo. Lei made the tour very interesting and I learned a lot about the chocolate process from bean to delicious. I will forever be reading my chocolate ingredient list before buying chocolate in the future. 😋
It would be nice if they install a viewing window to see the chocolate making process. Might be easier to follow the video too. It could be more interesting than the Big Island Candy viewing windows. 🥹

This was a truly fantastic experience! No joke a must do if you come to the “big island”. A small locally run, sustainable, off grid farm, that makes amazing chocolate and does an incredible tour explaining the process from growing to production. Our guide Jess was phenomenal! Really knows the process and full of energy. You will learn a lot about chocolate as well as sample pods and multiple chocolate flavors (you will not believe how good it is). Can’t say enough about this place and how it is an absolute must see! Hopefully soon they will do a coffee tour so it will be a double must see.

We had reservations for the chocolate farm tour. We arrived early and looked around in the gift shop. Our tour guide arrived and and another party, then we boarded a tour bus and stayed out tour. The beginning of the tour took us into the cacao fields, where it was explained how the farm started and where several fields were in production since they were planted. We tasted raw cacao seeds. From there, we toured the fermenting and drying high tunnel. We crushed one dry bean in our palms and could smell the intense chocolate scent. We went to the tasting room where the balance of the shelling, grinding, adding of raw sugar, and other flavors took place. We tasted many types of chocolate. The tour ended back at the gift shop. The tour is a little on the pricy side. The gravel road to this farm is very bumpy in areas. During the tour, we saw many pieces of heavy equipment in disrepair.

We had a great time touring the farm! The tour guide was especially amazing with lots of passion! They were able to find a sweet spot whenever they were big enough to afford all the top notch tools and machinery but not too big enough to lose the family business vibe.

We toured Hershey's farm before and they told us that raw cacao is borderline inedible. Well, now I know it is a lie. At the very least, high quality cacao beans are very interesting to try 🙂 We learned the journey from raw product to the chocolate bar and had a blast trying different kinds of chocolates. Highly recommend!
