My elderly sister had them for years. They just decided to do a core aeration without her permission and bill her for it. She never asked for it and never saw any plugs on her lawn. When she called them about it they insisted she ordered it and that she pay for it and hung up on her. A customer for years and that’s how they treated her. Now they are threatening her with collections.

Never prepay them for the services or you will keep chasing them to get the services completed. I had a good experience during the first year and the following year I prepaid for the summer services. But to the frustration I had to chase them for each service being done during the second year and they will never come out on time.
You don't want to keep a tab when the services are due and when they should be coming out to perform the services. Safe yourself a headache and try out someone else.

Would never use this company. Received an estimate and never agreed or signed for moving forward with any treatment. Several weeks later I come home and their sign is in my yard with seeds. I called the office staff and the woman was very unprofessional and defensive on the phone. Definitely will not ever use this company and would not recommend South Jersey residents to deal with this company either.

Have had Lawn Doctor for many years and it definitely gives you a beautiful lawn. Only disappointment was having it seeded this past fall n the results were not what I hoped for. Have called a few times and although they spot seeded it still looks bare in those spots. Last call to company was frustrating. Would not pay for seeding again. All other services seem good.

The technician using the equipment to spread the chemicals kept leaving large ruts in my grass. After 6 months of phone calls to the managers office and speaking with the technician about the damage done to my lawn, things were not getting better. I cancelled my service mid season. The Mullica Hill, NJ manager was unprofessional during our last conversation, trying to talk over me and minimizing my concerns about the situation. And….do not pre-pay your account. If service is cancelled early on a pre-paid plan, they will keep $20.00 for “processing fee”. Then for some reason, a Lawn Doctor employee seen on my camera came to my property 30 days after I had cancelled and walked around looking at grass/property. When I called and asked for an explanation, I was told they wanted to evaluate the grass. I reminded them that their services had been terminated and to stay off my property.

I have always been happy with Lawn Dr they do my lawn and trees and bushes. My trees and bushes are doing great. I have had compliments on my lawn. This year though I still have a lot of weeds in my back yard, clover & moss. The guys came just recently and put down weed killer but there are still many out there and it also killed a section of new grass that had come in this year from the seeding in fall.

Scammer beware scammer beware if you want to waste your money by killing weeds higher than they'll sell you seeding that's not guaranteed to work then after they're done seeding they'll try to sell you the right seeding for $250 I hired them to fill in patches instead they made more patches don't want to fix it they just want to charge me more money to fix it I already gave him over $400 no improvement to the yard unprofessional company all I wanted was the patches filled in it's such a small area
