My husband and I raised and slaughtered chickens from 2002 until 2022. This past year we took a break from slaughtering and delighted in finding Living Pastures. Their roasters are delicious! With their amazing flavor and bulk pricing, we plan to continue getting our chickens from them. Thank you Living Pastures for providing an excellent product and service to our community!

The beef tastes amazing, and I know it is also super healthy for my family to eat. (Plus, I was brave enough to cook T bone steaks rare for my husband, which I would never do with conventional meat... he was very happy!) We got a quarter cow, which will last us quite a while and allow us to try cuts we could never otherwise afford. Working with Jonathan and Ellen was great! They are both so helpful and flexible. Highly recommend trying their food!

I've gotten two orders from Living Pastures in the past year and couldn't be more pleased both with the quality of the beef and the service. Jonathan is clearly very passionate about raising his beef in a way that is environmentally friendly, providing ideal quality of life for the animals, and producing great food. The beef is the best I have ever had! I also love that they provide storage so that I don't have to buy an extra freezer to keep all of the meat in my house. Keep up the good work Jonathan!

I may not eat meat but, my dogs do!
When you've lost one member to tainted store bought feed. Another one that you have tried nearly every food possible to get her to loose weight.
I have resorted to making my own dog food.
I started buying Living Pastures Farm chicken.
My dog has lost 25 pounds. Down to a healthy weight now. This healthy ,humane ,grass raised chicken falls right off the bones.
I appreciate that Johnathan and Ellen take such pride in there products. I appreciate that it makes me feel

We are well into our second quarter and exploring cuts we didn't have last year. Tonight was the "fajita" cut. We marinated it overnight and cooked it in a hot cast iron skillet. It was great! Looking forward to experimenting with more cuts and cooking methods. Thank you, Ellen & Jonathan! We are definitely eating better with our Living Pastures beef.

We are so thankful to have found the Living pasture farm. After moving across states to Virginia, we were looking for grass fed beef. We have purchased pork products and quarter cow from the Elliotts. Their products are delicious and healthy! You can tell right away the quality of meat when you cook it. We have visited the farm to pick up products before and have met the Elliotts. They are so kind and environmentally conscious. They work hard to preserve the health of animals, land and people through their farming practice. Anybody looking for healthy and delicious grass fed beef will not be disappointed with Living Pastures Farm.

Short on freezer space so I went in a quarter cow with some folks. And boy am I glad I did! Jonathan and Ellen were very helpful and kind, giving tips on how to cook the more unique cuts of beef and chatting with us about the farm. It's such a unique experience to be able to talk with the farmer who raised your food.

Also, Living Pastures won in a blind taste test with a Trader Joe's steak. Hands down. I didn't realize how different the taste would be. It actually tasted like beef!! Deep red, juicy, flavorful. Mmmm! I will be back!

We ordered a side of grass-fed beef from Living Pastures in the fall of 2020, and we’ve been very pleased with the quality and service we’ve received. The meat tastes great! The owners are very friendly and helpful, and it’s obvious that they care a great deal about the quality of their products and the satisfaction of their clients. You will pay a little more than you would at the grocery store, but the quality is well worth the small extra expense.
