Only 6 min from caverns and such a great place!
Local beer and local meat is a great find!
The atmosphere was also nice, but be ready that they don’t accept dogs inside.
I’ve had service dog and was sitting outside.
Local beer is an amazing.
And local beef if a little tough for me, but still great.

Phenomenal experience!
Our server Afton was very attentive and friendly and knowledgeable.
I made a special request for seating which they couldn't have sat us in a better place.
Prior to our arrival, I received a courtesy call to verify the reservations I made were still good.
The food was excellent, the atmosphere was cozy and comfortable.
I highly recommend this place for a quiet, romantic dinner for two--or they can accommodate small groups as well.
Definitely check this place out if you get the chance!!

It was one of the best birthday dinners I've ever had. The service and food were perfect. There was a great selection of wine. I appreciated that many of the components of our meals were locally sourced. There was excellent detail put into the preparation of our dishes, which was appreciated both visually and through the taste. The Tuna Civeche was mind-blowing, and the Shrimp and Pea Chowder was inspirational. Our steaks were prepared perfectly. I'm so glad this establishment was recommended to us. I absolutely look forward to visiting this again when in the area.

One of the best restaurants in Harrisonburg and the surrounding Shenandoah Valley area. Amazing service and delicious food. My favorite is the local steaks that get featured as specials. Fish is always cooked perfectly and the Mac and cheese is the best side you can get.

Our company was in the area for a meeting and took our crew of 8 to eat dinner last night (Thursday)as some of our team had been there recently.
Cocktails were average, a little on the weak side, but whiskey options were actually decent selections.
Apps were good, and probably the best course enjoyed by all. Though we all were looking forward to the bread (co worker talked it up from previous visit) and we're all SUPER impressed with the bread, but we only got 4 pieces for the table of 8 people and they were out of bread at 7:30p. We were all pleased with our entrees (mostly steaks and pork chops), but nothing stood out as "wow", but still enjoyable enough. The Mac n Cheese (made with goat cheese) was a pleasant surprise!
Desserts were creative, though a little bit rich tasting.
Pricing was better than expected for 8 adults, I expected close to $800 but it was almost $600 (without tip).
The atmosphere was decent, a little dark & dated (old town feel), but not a big deal for us.
The Service was not horrible, but just a tad below expectations. It wasn't too busy but it took a while, The server wasn't even apologetic for the lack of bread at dinner time. He was nice, but very quiet and not engaging/lacked personality. I've been a server in many styles of restaurants and I feel like he missed an opportunity to wow a table of adults who were clearly there to have a good time. I would eat here again, just not high expectations.

Have been eating here since 2017 and happy to report it’s as good as before Covid!
The staff and servers are so friendly and the food is great. Only downside is to plan for a quick little walk- not a lot of parking. So minimal though!

We celebrated our anniversary last night and had the most amazing time! Great food, great service, and the atmosphere was amazing. Our server Chris was absolutely amazing and super knowledgeable, this is truly the best dining experience I have ever had. I can’t wait to come back again!
