This review is about the delivery of our oven. First, it was outsourced to a company and not a Lowes delivery truck. The removal of our old oven was fine, but the installing of the new one had some issues with the anti-tip device. We could not use the previous one and was told by the delivery guy, they DO NOT install it and I would have to do it. 4 huge screws drilled into the foundation! Good thing I had a power drill. I was able to do it, no problem but the driver said he has a delivery up the street and will be back to check on whether I installed it correctly. Never came back. I even called his # but no answer. Also, there were alot of "scuff" marks on our kitchen floor due to the dragging of the old oven. No effort to clean or remove it from the delivery guys, so I had to do it. That is the problem with big box companies, always on the go and not pausing for customer service. Lot of family owned appliance stores have retired here in Hawaii which we used to frequent due to their excellent customer service. It is sad that we have to put up with these companies due to no other choice.

I purchased a Mrcool DIY Multi-zone air-condition unit at $2500. I hired a handyman to install them according to the direction on the installation manual, but it didn't work. After 3 days, the technician from Kunfu Airservice came and checked everything, and he said the compressor is not working.
So I took it back to Lowes to exchange it or get the money back. Lowes denied it because 48 hours is over.

If I could give this Lowe’s zero stars, I would. I went through absolute hell trying to get patio doors installed through this store, and I would strongly recommend anyone reading this to avoid them at all costs.

First, they completely forgot about my project — I had to chase them down just to get a status update. Then, after wasting my time, they admitted they lost my measurements and had no record of the work that had already been started. As if that wasn’t bad enough, when they finally assigned me a new sales rep (Brian), he had the audacity to try to upsell me on Lifestyle and Pella 250 series windows instead of just fixing the mess they created. The price of my project doubled even though I signed a contract in November.

This entire experience has been a dumpster fire from start to finish. Save yourself the headache and drive to the Honolulu location if you absolutely must shop at Lowe’s — at least they know how to answer a phone and follow through on basic customer service. This location is a joke, and I’ll be telling everyone I know to steer clear.

Huge Store with Great Customer Service. The majority of the workers are very helpful and willing to spend time with you to answer your questions.

Lots of free parking. In store selection is sometimes very limited, but special orders delivered to the store for future pickup has free shipping, even for Hawaii.

5/5/2021 - Lowe's has become one of my favorite stores! I bought my new range on one trip, outdoor lighting on another, and many different kinds of plants on other trips. As I told my fiance, they have everything you never knew you needed. Plus, the employees are always ready to give assistance and helpful hints.

I went 3 times in the last 2 months. Employees are helpful and friendly. They have more ovens/ranges in their warehouse available for delivery but not many refrigerators due to the pandemic's disruption to their supply chain.

Dude, this Lowe's location is phenomenal. It's in one of my absolute favorite shopping centers. You can hit up Safeway, Starbucks, Petco and everything else you could imagine, all in one spot. The parking lot is HUGE, easy and free parking. It's easy to get in and off the interstate. I've used this area for meetups in general when I am meeting people further across the island. It's a nice, safe place to park your vehicle for a bit. They have the BEST tree selection. I dug through the assortment and found a Kona Sherwil Avocado Tree, Magnolia Fig and all kinds of nutso rare stuff for fantastic prices. The paint center is awesome. The staff is insanely helpful. Even more convenient - this is a location that offers the Lowe's Enhanced Pro Shopping Experience. They have free air stations to fill up tires and portable air tanks for pneumatic tools.

I live in Honolulu but make the drive to Waikele if I need to go to Lowes. Staff is great and friendly. If I lived by this Lowes, it would be my primary home improvement store. Curbside pickup is SO much better at this location.

Lowe's Home Improvement store is probably our most frequented store of it's kind simply because it is closest to our home and because the variety and selection of home improvement materials is pretty diverse. That, and competitive pricing make Lowe's an easy place to go for our home improvement needs.

Although I went into the store today looking for a 12 volt DC charger that they do not carry the experience there was made very pleasant due to Andrew who happened to be working near the hardware department today.

I asked him about the charger but didn't have the correct name and he made a comment about knowing how to speak "housewife" but still not understanding what I wanted. He said it with a straight face and it made me laugh. He's got a wicked dry sense of humor that I find very amusing. I finally got smart and Googled what I wanted and he took me over to a display that used to have something similar but what he wanted to show me was out of stock. I told him the particular item I wanted was to give to my husband to use with his wireless headphones since he pretty much stole the charger I use for my electric razor. When I mentioned that to Andrew he said something like, "That dirty dog!" He's so hilarious. Even my husband got a good laugh out of that when I told him the story. We both appreciate people who have a healthy sense of humor.

In any event, I could have left dissatisfied but instead left feeling upbeat and smiling because of Andrew's quick wit. Laughter is definitely a good thing to gift to someone and Andrew certainly gave me a few good laughs today. Mahalo, Andrew!

That aside, I have shopped at Lowe's for anything from garden supplies, to lighting fixtures, to light bulbs, to chain, to tools and so much more. Do check them out for your home needs. (But not so much electronic items which makes sense since they are not an electronics store.) They also sell appliances, flooring, paint, cleaning supplies, small parts like nails, screws, hooks, nuts, bolts, lumber, doors, rugs, etc. I could spend hours just walking around in that store. I love hardware stores and Lowe's is therefore one of my places to meander through when time permits and the mood strikes.
