Not really a beach. NO SAND, but completely covered in GRAVEL; crushed oyster shells, and absolutely NO WAVES. My mom loved the birdwatching, but the other 4 people in the car, me included, were very disappointed. Donโ€™t go on the 1 hour detour like we did. My 11 year old brother said โ€œIโ€™m not getting wet for thisโ€, and we left.

We love this place. You can camp on the beach for free. Bathrooms are provided and a pier for fishing. Inside and outside showers. They do need some upkeep.

Stayed for the first time on a Saturday-Tuesday (today). Lots of RVโ€™s but still room without squeezing too much. We were 70โ€™ long with our super C and enclosed trailer so we picked the widest area. We stuck out a little past most but still left plenty of room for 2 way traffic. A very neat experience, especially for free. Everyone we talked to was nice. It was pretty clean and the water was beautiful. Obviously be prepared for salt and sand everywhere especially with dogs!

Nice place to park your RV for up to 2 weeks. The indianolo fishing marina also has a bar and grill down at the end of the road. I enjoyed watching the super bowl there!!
