It's better to get here while it's still light and do all of the bonsi gardens and glass addition first. After that work through the arboretum. By then it's dark out and you can enjoy the lights.

I love the fountain shows, I’ve seen quite a few this year. All of them spectacular! I’m looking forward to more! Thank you Longwood for always providing a wonderful experience for me since I was a child! Do yourself a favor if you’re a local-purchase a membership

We got to tour the New Buildings. Whoa!!! I love burro tails made my day. I love them, and to see so many up in the air was great. Then the 60 bonsai. Very impressive. The new library and then the new classroom building were great. Including the original work space was neat. Can't wait for Christmas!

Truly the best part of our entire experience at Longwood Gardens. If you come here, you really shouldn’t miss the fountain shows. They have wonderful music selection accompanying the fountains as they move in creative ways and formations. Would definitely recommend.

Longwood invested millions to revitalize the fountain garden and it was worth it! There are dozens of fountains choreographed to music. They offer dazzling fountain effects such as combining fire with gushing water. For special evening fountain shows, they incorporate colored, flashing lights with the water displays. If you're interested in the mechanics behind the magic, you can view some of the machinery up close in an exhibit area by the promenade area. As of 2024, they've add movable chairs at the viewing area by the garden conservatory. So nice not to have to stand for the fountain show now!

Great place to casually roam with family and see some great plants, a waterworks display and overall enjoy some "me" or family time. If you have kids, there is spot where they can roll down the grass hill without getting hurt. Not a bad outdoor spot on a nice day.
