Bought a Mainas Farms organic cantaloupe from the local health food store a couple weeks ago. It seemed green so I left it out to finish ripening. Today it looked like it was starting to spoil so I cut into it. I can't believe how unsweet and far from ripe it is. I have to assume they know when to harvest their produce, so I have to assume they know that the fruit is not going to turn into anything delicious when it's harvested this early, so the concluding assumption is they don't care if some people get fruit that had no chance of being good they're going to sell it anyways.
