To the post that complained that they had their vacation canceled, this is not a resort. Someone was renting out their condo to you. Each condo is individually owned. You should give the person that canceled on you a bad review, not the actual property. We love our condo, the location, the pool, and all the wild life. It sounds like a jungle at night. If you don't like the sounds of the country, stay in Waikiki for all the city noise. Most units built in 1987, not 1957 like some one mistakenly wrote. This is a great place to retire to if you don't need to drive into Honolulu, that drive is awful . You should not rent a condo for here if you plan on being in Honolulu a lot, great location away from the crowds if you stay local. Awesome beach less than 2 miles away.

We’ve lived here for about a year. It’s a peaceful well maintained complex. The pools and jacuzzis are nice. Can be a little noisy with the peacocks sometimes but they add to the atmosphere. You can walk to the beach in about 20-30 min. Buses come right to the complex front gate. Lots of fruit trees dot the grounds.

Really a great place, we just wish we had air-conditioning (our fault not theirs). Staff is very friendly, pool was always cleaned and well maintained. A few things to note, this location is quite a ways away from places you might want to visit for example you will be driving more than an hour to anywhere on North shore. Other than that it was a fantastic experience.

It was very peaceful here with the exception of the many beautiful, wild Peacocks that rom the grounds. Surrounded by mountains with strong definition to them. God's handy work is Miraculous. The Condo we rented was fully furnished and all the amenities one needs to make it a pleasant stay. I caught a beautiful, baby Gecko he came in to greet us and then got lost and couldn't get out to his Mommie 🦎 .

I lived there many years from early 2000. I was there when the barcodes for cars were created and the Security there was lousy. Just read some current reviews and the same security problems still exist. I had the worst neighbor too. He was a Police Officer and his beat was the Waianae Coast. Divorced, alcoholic, haole. One night He introduced himself to me and my girlfriend, drunk out of his mind. Making a huge scene in the parking lot about his racist views about the Waianae Coast and how he told my girlfriend and I that he had a sniper rifle
pointed at his car from his bedroom window just waiting for someone to mess with his car. Thank god the pos moved out eventually. My other neighbor was a local Hawaiian couple with a newborn child that moved out pretty quick because of the cop and they said there was a Nightmarcher portal near by. I witnessed one strange phenomenon while I was there so maybe the Hawaiian couple was right. Nightmarchers. I moved out when they raised my rent from $650 per month to $1000.00. Almost bought the place for $69k Fee Simple but the monthly maintenance fees were ridiculously high. Community rules were extremely strict. 2 Stars for how the place is run.

We loved the nature and the quiet setting in the Valley overlooking the Ocean in the distance. And we really liked that we were an hour or less from anywhere on the island. It was so nice to go to busy places like Waikiki Beach or Honolulu if we wanted and then come back to the condo here and relax. Pools were nice and grounds are kept up well and even has a security gate. Seemed like they were always improving the landscaping and or buildings while we were there. We were impressed with the upkeep they do. On our next trip we hope to walk to the "Icy Ponds". We also loved the tide pools just a bit north of Makaha beach
