Being new to the area and to Alabama, we try to follow the local advice on where to go for our food and other things.

We discovered Mama's Produce because the Prattville Farmer's Market closed for the season. We visited Mama's Produce this morning and were greeted by the loveliest of ladies. The vegetables were so reasonable and very fresh. Especially the looks of the fresh tomatoes. But, it was our interaction with the wonderful people here that will make Mama's Produce a regular stop for us.

Great Produce Market! It has lovely produce and several other prepared food items such as a casserole, cake, pizza or pie. Tammy Burkhalter (owner) is so much fun to be around and they couldn't provide better customer service!!

Great watermelons.. so sad the season is over ?
They're great... Heard her advertising on 93.1 and turned around in Deatsville... They had the best I found this year. I got 7 before she ran out. Also got tomatoes, peas and beans. Excellent!

We just moved from Florida to Prattville in March and found Mama’s Produce this morning. We were given a warm welcome from everyone we talked to. This little place is busting at the seams with flowers, fresh fruit, and vegetables!! It will definitely be our place to go in Prattville for all our fresh produce and plants.
