Great happy hour specials but, if you go for happy hour and don’t have a reservation, expect to be in full sun. And if you’re not in the sun, wait 10 minutes and you probably will be. There is a bar area so if you are coming without kids, you should be ok. And the indoor area stays out of the sun but I assume it is for reservations only.
We asked for shade and the shade disappeared so quickly, we became so uncomfortable in the sun that we wrapped up our food and left.
If you know you’re coming, try to reserve ahead of time. We tried to reserve but I assume we were too late to get a reservation as it wouldn’t work for us. The indoor seating is limited; there is quite a lot of outdoor seating.
If you make it, I strongly recommend the Huli huli chicken. It was amazing! Also, the pizzas were good. The guacamole was under seasoned and a bit bland. The beer was mild and nothing I needed to go back for but decent. The mojito was fine but not worth the price.
The food came very fast!
That sounds a bit negative, but the chicken was so good that we came here twice! And you can’t beat the happy hour prices!

A very nice brewery with great service and amazing food.

We stopped in on a Friday for Happy Hour (between 3-5 every day), as they have some great deals including $13 pizzas and 50% off most appetizers. The food was incredible, and we loved everything we ate. The beer was also good. The lemonade was a bit sour but to be expected for lemonade.
The wait was around 30 minutes, which was alright, however there isn’t anywhere to go or sit while you wait for a table, which is slightly inconvenient.

We loved it so much, that we decided to go back again 2 days later. We only had to wait around 10 minutes, which was nice. However, we were put at a table that was in full sun within 10 minutes, which was unfortunate and we became way too hot very quickly. This led us to order and eat quite quickly, and leave as soon as we were done. Had we been seated in the shade, we would have stayed longer and purchased for drinks. Had all the other tables been full, I wouldn’t have had as much of a problem with it, however there were MANY spots in the shade as well as more in the building which was open to the outdoors but fully shaded.

I would highly recommend the Huli-Huli chicken bites, they are incredibly delectable and on our second trip back actually bought 2 servings of them. They come with wirthera ranch or Blue-cheese dipping sauce, both of which are great and offer a refreshing addition to the flavour of the chicken. The chicken is small pieces of chicken thigh battered and deep-fried, then tossed in Huli-Huli sauce. Yum yum šŸ˜‹.

Overall it is a great place to have dinner and a drink.

We had a 30 min wait to get in for happy hour. The wait was worth it. Food was delicious especially the chicken bites. We were expecting standard fried chicken nuggets or strips - what a got was an amazing and delicious saucy chicken dish that was the star of the evening!!!

The pizzas were very good as were the garlic. Truffle fries. The beer was just good - but we are spoiled to live in a place in BC that has some of the best craft brews ever, so the beer here fell short of our normal experiences. Still very good though.

We absolutely recommend coming here especially during happy hour when appies are half off and pizzas are $13. Beer is also $2 off at that time.

Edit:
We came back for a second visit a few days later. We specifically requested shade. Without it we would not have stayed as we were over sunned for the day.

They put us at a table that started as shade but was full sun after only 5-10 minutes.

Luckily our food came quickly and we are and ran. We were only there for maybe 30 minutes all in and got takeout containers for our food as we needed out of the sun.

There were several tables inside that were vacant the entire time we were there. We should have asked to move but didn’t. Our bad I suppose.

Had we been at a proper shady table we not only would have been happier, stayed longer, and had more drinks, I would not have felt compelled to reduce my rating from 5 down to 4 stars.

If they were busy and full sun was all that was available I’d understand but we would have left. Very unfortunate second visit. At least the food was still very good.

We enjoyed a 5 star rating dinner with delicious fish tacos (catch of the day - Mahi Mahi) and a couple of refreshing locally brewed (what else) beers. There was a band and the live music was very welcomed. A great evening with friends at a wonderful location. We will certainly return.

Maui Brewing Co. in Kihei is a great place to soak up some local flair. The atmosphere is fantastic—relaxed, vibrant, and very much in tune with the island’s laid-back vibe. It’s a spot that’s as much about the experience as it is the food and drinks.

The beers and kombuchas were decent—nothing groundbreaking, but enjoyable and refreshing, especially paired with their menu of bar food with a bit of an island twist. Think comfort food that nods to Hawaii’s flavors.

If you’re looking for a casual place to hang out, enjoy some good drinks, and get a taste of the local scene, Maui Brewing Co. is worth the stop.

The atmosphere and local charm make it a great spot to visit, even if the food and drinks don’t completely steal the show.

Maui Brewing Co. has a rare combo of great beer, food, service and atmosphere, and we’re happy we stopped by. We came in send 12:30 on a rainy day, and it was popular enough to have a short wait, but we barely noticed while sampling options in their tasting room. We got in after about 15 minutes and we had an awesome experience throughout our time there. We didn’t eat big meals, but we loved the fish tacos and the chips and guacamole. We’re in the area somewhat frequently and we’re kicking ourselves that we took this long to stop in. We’ll be back again soon.

One of the best breweries I’ve been to and would go out of my way to come here again. Extensive menu and we loved the three Baja fish taco’s with a flight of four beers. They had about a 5-10 min wait for us when we went at about 7pm. They also had a live band that killed it.

Excellent service by Sarah at the bar. Beer was cold and good. Fish and chips delicious and well cooked. I think the only negative is the price of beer. I would have had a couple of them, but at 9 bucks a "pint" (looked smaller than a pint to me), I only had one.
