Founded in 2002, Maui Cattle Company sells fresh, island-raised beef and jerky. I've tried their hamburger in the past which was good but pricey compared to other brands.

THE GOODS:
Beef Jerky - $10.95
A shiny, gold bag caught my eye in the stack of snacks at my mom's house. What differentiates this 30 oz. package of jerky from the rest of the world, IMO, is the size of their jerky. You're usually treated to thin slices of chewy meat or even razor thin crisps. Not here. Actual filets of steak are marinated, dried and sliced into thick, tender strips of jerky goodness, savory and sweet with a hint of pepper. I mean, just take a look at my photo! Who does that?! Highly recommended.

OVERALL:
No antibiotics, added hormones, MSG, artificial ingredients or preservatives.

Update:This Building aka The Kahului Pineapple Cannery Was built in 1927. And the company itself was founded 1929 then a Peak year: in 1992, with 220,000 Pineapple Can tons produced then Final year: of the company. In 2007, with an estimated 50,000 tons produced they shut down.
