The best thing we did in Maui! Our tour guide showed up with some fresh cut fruits 🍊 and let us try them - so good. The walking tour was so fun. We walked around the farm, picked up some coconuts from the trees, drank the juice 🥥 and ate the meat. At the end of the tour, he gave us a bag of Macadamia nuts from the farm.

I’m a nut for a nut so bugged my spouse into dropping by for a tour. Ryan was our guide and he was very kind and informative. The tour goes for a little bit over an hour and covers fruits and nuts, as well as some history, and comes with several things to try. We had fresh coconut, dragonfruit, bananas, and obviously macadamias. Would recommend you come see the spot.

When my husband and I decided to take the Maui Macadamia Tour we were prepared to learn about macadamia nut farming. This tour is so much more than that. Ryan and Gant taught us so much about sustainable farming practices, greenhouse farming, and their passion for providing their community with natural wholesome food. We sampled fresh coconut water and delicious cherry tomatoes that could possibly be the tastiest tomatoes ever. This tour is highly recommended and will not disappoint.

Fascinating tour learning about the cultivation of the many different fruits and vegetables grown on the farm. Tastes of some of the products as the tour covered different areas. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about all the developments taking place and discussing how nothing is wasted. The practices are organic which further added to the attraction. This was one of the most enjoyable things we've done in Maui and is highly recommended.

A really fun and informative tour. I watched the land go from overgrown Mac nut fields to a mixed food farm. The fresh coconut milk was delicious and the Mac nuts were amazing but the tomatoes were over the top both in taste and how they grow them. The whole farm is pesticide free and provides fresh salads and tomatoes for many of the island's locally run restaurants. Definitely worth it.

So to be honest this tour was an add-on to our trip and not in the initial plans. My wife and I were so glad that circumstances changed so that we were able to have this experience. Gant was our guide. His knowledge and enthusiasm made the tour a real treat. Speaking of treats, getting to eat freshly picked dragonfruit, coconut and tomatoes grown hydroponically was a highlight.

I personally enjoyed learning about how the farm was rehabilitated organically as well as the sustainable practices utilized currently. I also was impressed with how they are experimenting with innovative techniques to expand on both efficiency and biodiversity. Again, Gant’s passion on these issues made the experience special.

In summary, I would highly recommend this tour. If/when I return to Maui I definitely plan on doing it again and would be looking forward to see how they have progressed. With everything to see and do in Maui both my wife and I felt this tour was one of the top highlights!

Such a great deal!! Ryan was knowledgeable, fun, and so accommodating. The tour is such a great deal as we paid $176 for the two of us and the following was included:
- 1 hour tour of the working farm
- Samples of produce grown on site
- Freshly picked and split coconut
- Reusable water bottle with bamboo top
- Bag of macadamia nuts
- Farm-to-Table lunch

Seeing their working orchards and their hydroponics greenhouses was so neat. One of my favorite things I’ve done in Maui!! Come check them out!!

We went not expecting much but we were pleasantly surprised. This may be the best tour we’ve ever been on! Actually, the farm does much more than macadamia. They are a cooperative which is passionate about farm to table sustainable foods and hydroponic agriculture. They are a relatively young farm but quite established. We were only the fourth tour they’ve ever done and it was just us and the guide. They had coconut, dragonfruit, banana, lilikoi, pineapple, papaya, mango, avocado, orange, and macadamia nut trees. They also grew several varieties of lettuces, tomatoes, and herbs hydroponically for local restaurants. They operate entirely off the grid and are totally organic. They gave us fresh picked coconut and lilikoi. Both were very good. We had lunch there at Ula’Ula Cafe. Chicken Katsu and a vegetable sandwich (using veggies grown at that farm). Both were tasty. They have lots of plans to expand and improve. But the best part of the tour was the crew…all of them were extremely enthusiastic, knowledgeable and dedicated to the land and what they could produce on it. And their passion was contagious!
