New here so I wanted to check this place out and I was really taken back by how good everything was.
Wedges were probably the best I've ever had. Fried chicken is absolutely fantastic; crispy outside, flavorful inside. I even got a burger which was absolutely on point and delicious.
Staff was also super sweet and patient with me.
I plan to spend a lot of money here.

Tried a few menu items and highly disappointed. Chicken was dry and overpriced. I don’t know how long it was sitting there but it was too long. The girl was not helpful upon ordering. Our chicken came with two sides. We picked coleslaw as it was listed on the sides but was told it wasn’t an option. Potato wedges were decent, Mac and cheese was bland and pasta was overcooked. We also tried the regular burger. It was decent but nothing special. We actually went for the cheesesteak. Because of the reviews and recommendations. It was just ok. Tasted like it was cooked on a dirty griddle and just bland. We spent $70 and I do not think I will be back.

This place is great the food was delicious the service was great the portions are a good size for a really good price we got the cheesesteak and the boneless and we couldn't even come close to finishing all of it

I drove past this place on my way to a meeting in Honesdale one day and told my wife we had to try it one day when we had nothing going on. And that just happened to be the case on this past Saturday.

A little background before I give my full review. It was me, my incredibly pregnant wife, and our 3-yearold toddler. It was raining and everyone was kind of hungry. According to their website and from the photos there was no in-door seating. So we kind of flip flopped back and forth if we should go. We finally decided that we'd go and we'd either eat in the car or bring our food to the park. Lo-and-behold when we go there we discovered they have three full size plastic picnic benches in the building,
perfect 👌. So don't let the photos or the website fool you, you can eat inside - there's just no table service, no biggie.

The food - it was good. I got the regular cheese steak and it was tasty. I ordered it with fried onions, because it doesn't automatically come with them. It was an above average cheese steak for a good price. Definitely won't knock it. The fries were... meh. Nothing to cry home about. My wife got the Purdy Burger and she liked it, my toddler ate some of my fries and some chicken tenders and they were your typical frozen tenders.

Next time I'd like to try their Purdy Cheese Steak. It's the cheese steak with their "special sauce" on it. I wound up getting a side of the Purdy Sauce to dip my fries in; think not-as-complex Big Mac Sauce: mayo, ketchup, relish, thousand island dressing.

As far as the service goes. The young lady who took our order was friendly but she had never tried the cheese steak and I thought that was a bit odd. You take people's orders and you haven't tried the restaurant's flagship item? Not her fault, but management should correct that with a staff try-the-food party. Also, we got the meals for our burgers which included a fountain drink, but after we paid was told the soda fountain was broken, so we had to pay for bottled drinks - not cool. 🫤

The venue itself was your typical lunch place. Nothing spectacular or interesting. As I said above, enough indoor seating for three crowds and no outdoor seating. Parking can fit about 12 vehicles.

I'll definitely go again next time we're in the area.

This was my second visit today, the first time I had the chicken bites & it wasn’t bad, I went back to try the bone-in chicken & it was absolutely terrible! I also asked for it to be well done crispy, & it was still raw in the inside. The wings are not worth it at all, be careful when ordering the wings here.

A pretty awful place all in all, place is barren with a dreadful atmosphere and depressing paint and decor and just a pretty off-putting name, no parking easily available since they don't add lines, ordered a cheese steak that tasted like it was just unseasoned ground beef with cheese wiz on it all on a messy soggy stale piece of bread that was more bread than anything else, must of been about 4oz of meat on the whole thing. Place is just generally dirty and unclean, sure it's even worse behind the counter since the staff are too busy on their phones rather than worrying about food or customer service. Definitely don't recommend.

Personally, I love this place. Nice and clean. The prices are great!! The food tastes great, and the portions are filling. This is my go-to spot for fried chicken !!! Closed Tuesdays, so plan ahead!!

Had a little time to kill in the Lake Wallenpaupack area and was looking up some suggestions from my videos and searching items on google for a spot to grab something to eat. Came across a spot on google that was using seeded semolina rolls and cooper sharp for a cheesesteak so I figured why not give it a shot. I would come to find out that they no longer use cooper sharp (which is why this is a 4 and not a 5 rating), but I wanted to try this out either way.

So in the middle of nowhere…this is a good steak. Plenty of meat and it was tender and seasoned nicely. The cheese sauce they make here went nicely on the sandwich and the seeded semolina was a good roll. It was not a Philly or NYC quality roll, but it was good. Price was about what I’d expect.

Not much else to say really, if I was back in the area I’d absolutely try this spot again. Meatheads - Didn’t Suck!
