I prefer Waikele only because it's bigger and stocks more items and has more choices. The employees here are friendly but need more lines open. Sometimes, the deli workers see you waiting but pretend they don't. I've heard others comment on this issue as well.

Anchor store there is Safeway. Used to have a Long's (CVS) but they shut down in December 2023. I liked going to that Long's. Not as crowded and always had lots of parking. There's an L&L, Sakura Restaurant, Papa John's, a nail salon, Subway and a couple other small businesses. I mainly go to Marketplace because of Sakura fir their Hamachi sashimi and sushi. I know it wasn't asked but Town Center Long's has had to absorb customers from Marketplace so they run out of things and the Pharmacy lines are always long and slow. Usually only 2 cashiers/ technicians at a time and they sometimes don't have medications ready the same day or they don't have enough in supply. Need to brings Long's back to Marketplace.

Small strip mall with Safeway and Longs Drugs…but the closest Safeway to our home. They have one of the best Japanese restaurants (Sakura) and best Chinese restaurants (Po Sing) in the Mililani area.

The only grocery store I go to and I drive further to go there. Like family to me and everyone knows me. I enjoy going there sometimes twice a week. See all of the same faces and I know where everything is. Definitely my go to!

Good place to shop especially on $5 Friday, they are always well stocked. It seems smaller than some of the others but it's a good thing cause I dont have to walk for hours around the store and it nice and cold. I love shopping is a store who aware of the customers needs, like ac.
