Wonderful selection of Japanese maple varieties. Owner is really approachable and knowledgeable. He says they've expanded their grafting operation, and that seems to have made prices much more approachable for Japanese maple "beginners". And if you've officially "got the bug," Millstone has more than enough varieties to keep you coming back.

Revisited in July 2024, and all of the above remains true! Even in the dog days of summer, Millstone is still great to visit.

I visited this nursery today and found Paul to be very helpful, he was very knowledgeable about each type of Japanese maple they had available. They had hundreds of trees to choose from and different varieties and sizes too. Small seedlings all the way up to full size trees. I had planned to only buy one and that was the Orangeola I found the perfect one!! And also 3 other varieties! Needless to say I will be back to this nursery soon to buy a bigger one! Prices are reasonable and they are grown locally which is a big plus!!! Thanks for putting your business on Facebook otherwise I never would have known about your nursery!

The best place to get Japanese Maples!!!! My husband and I have purchased 10 from him and I will be going back. They are beautiful and healthy. Thinking about making a trip something this week to plant inside my flower garden....update....I made the trip I love that place even purchased daylilies!!
