Stopped for fuel because a family member needed the restroom. I had enough fuel to get to Hilo, but thought I would fill up since we were using the facitlities. She waited in front of the bathroom for 10 minutes, one of the doors had a sign on it saying it was closed and the other was locked, she assumed someone was in it, so waited and waited. I finished fueling and got in the vehicle and waited. Finally walked in and asked if we needed a key or was the person in there OK. She said "sorry, the bathrooms are both out of order", I was stunned. I was still parked in front of the pump, where I had just spent $66 of fuel into our Wrangler. Not sure where they go to the bathroom as employees. I understand not letting "non-customers" use the facilities, but I do not understand what happened yesterday. And, it was a desperate stop, the restrrom was badly needed.

I am sure it is a great local stop, lots of people coming and going. But they didn't treat us very well.

We live locally and stop here a couple times a week. Very glad to have this convenience store; good food. The cashier today looked really unhappy, though...like she REALLY needs a day off maybe.

Used to be good but the quality and freshness of the food went down hill lately. I don't what happened. It's like all of a sudden they just gave up. Probably the worst Minit Stop location on the Big Island.

Gas is about 10cents a gallon more than Hilo,but Waimea is like 20cents more than Hilo
