So good I had to write this review before I was done!

My buddy Jimmy recommended this place to me since I’m out on a work trip from Colorado. Man that Maryland boy made a good recommendation! I mean everything from the “Hey folks” when you walk in, to the prices, to the taste, and just the general vibe was amazing.

Just come eat here!

First time visiting this restaurant, I was greeted with a smile with the friendly cashier lady in the front. She told me about the menu, I ordered, and my food was ready in a very timely manner. I was greeted by a man named Thomas and he gave a free Brownie( I love brownies) so I very much appreciated this gesture! The food was terrific and the mud pie was to die for! Totally will come here again. I am all for the patriotic environment supporting the love of America, and the great people who serve and defend our nation.

Mission BBQ has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants in Maryland! The meat is incredibly fresh and flavorful, and surprisingly light – it’s the first place I’ve eaten where I didn’t feel heavy or sluggish afterwards. I even finished the entire plate for the first time, which says a lot!

The concept and ambiance make it feel like a true American restaurant, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. We tried the pork and the chicken burger, and both were absolutely divine. Another highlight is the sauce station – I love being able to pick and choose my own sauce right at the table.

The service was just as impressive. The cashier was so sweet, taking the time to explain the menu and how everything worked for us. They even brought us a sausage sample at the table, which was such a thoughtful and generous touch.

Overall, Mission BBQ delivers on taste, quality, and experience. It’s the perfect spot if you want authentic, satisfying barbecue without the guilt afterwards. Definitely a must-try!

Best service ever- it was our first time visiting and they really went above and beyond. Coming from Texas, it’s nice to have a spot with good bbq in the area! Solid brisket and sausage. We loved the slaw & strawberry shortcake too. Highly recommend 🙂

I'm not much of a BBQ person, but this place might've changed that! It was pretty clearly my first time in with how uncertain I was looking at the menu, the person at the register kindly (and patiently) walked me through the options and portion sizes, and give samples when stuck between two options.

The food itself was filling and delicious! I had the pulled chicken sandwich, and tried some of my wife's pulled pork. Ate it too quickly before thinking to snap a picture, but I got the Mississippi mud pie (with a nice note) for dessert!

I got there an hour before close and a bunch of people were pretty diligently cleaning. Couldn't even make it 10 steps to the trash can before someone took it from me. So I was impressed by the cleanliness too. Found out as I was leaving that the nice guy at the counter was Alex the GM. Thanks Alex!

Place was super clean I was there at 11:30 am if you want a real treat be there at 12pm where the entire restaurant stands up for the pledge of allegiance. Definitely one of the greatest things I have ever seen I wish more restaurants did this I absolutely loved it. Side note I really enjoyed the chicken sandwich and the macaroni and cheese was delicious. Wish we had one of these in Brunswick Ga I would definitely be going weekly.

10/10 burger was a pleasant surprise! Shrimp also fantastic. They don’t believe in the space force yet, unfortunate but certainly a work in progress.

Exceptional service upon entering the front door, completing my order!!! Everything was beautiful. It’s nothing like getting exceptional service!! I had to leave a review. This was one of the best experiences I have experienced in a while. I can tell that the management is exceptional because everyone was awesome!!! Thank you
