The best kind of small town local Italian ice and ice cream shop. Lots of great flavors and always served with great customer service. They take cash or Venmo, and the portions are generous. It does get a nightly line, but the line moves quickly.

Warning… Their water ice will ruin every other water ice place for you. Super fine chipped ice; like the texture of powdered sugar. Great, strong flavors, not chemically corn syrupy. You’ll never go back to Rita’s.

I never write reviews for places, but Mom’s deserves it! I have been there countless times last season and already this season. They absolutely never disappoint. Last year I thought they were open because I saw someone inside. They weren’t, but opened the window and were kind enough to give me a little bit since they had begun making things already. We went almost once a week last year and loved every visit. We’ve already been a few times since they opened for the year and it’s just a great as ever. The custard is divine, Italian ice is amazing, blueberry cheesecake ice cream is delicious, and today I tried the dole whip which is out of this world. The line is usually long, but that is just a testimony to how good everything is and it’s so worth the wait!

Normally very good water ice and ice cream. However, this time I got strawberry mango with hair. Not just one but several hairs or fuzzies throughout my water ice. Very gross. Throw that patch away.
My follow up response: I thought that it was the mango at first but this looked like fuzzies. My daughter has had it before and never complained. I will try it again to see if it is the same. I appreciate your quick response. By the time I realize the issue I was on my way home and could not return. I have ever right to share my experience.
