We found Bella Terra in Jackson as a place we could move my father closer to us. The facility is nice, clean, has many amenities/activities as well as it being reasonably priced. When it came time to transfer him to the assitsted side they helped us immensely. The staff are great and it all starts with Executive Director Amauris Bustamante. She and her staff are very helpful and truly caring. I highly recommend Bella Terra for its independent and assisted living sides, the activities, the price and above all its staff, starting with Amauris.

Bella Terra is under new management and they are heavily investing in the community. They are focused on health and wellness of their residents, team members and their families. It is refreshing to find a home for seniors that treats them like extended family. They have an indoor heated pool and are pet friendly.

My mother-in-law, my husband and I went to visit a family member. It was Beatles day and Karaoke. Amy was the host. She is incredible. She brings joy and happiness to Bella Terra. This is the second time we met Amy and I wanted to share that she left quite an impression on all of us. She is truly an asset to Bella Terra.

I just want to say that this place is top notch. My mother was there for 10 months and the care the gave her was excellent! All of the nurses and aids did a fantastic job. She passed away which is sad and they were so compassionate.
If you're looking for a place for your your parent or yourself I highly recommend Bella Terra. I don't understand why other people's reviews aren't great but both my sister and I and my wife thought they took really good care of my mother.

I visited Bella Terra this weekend and I met with the Executive Director Amauris Bustamante. Amauris was professional n listened to me n answered all of the questions that I had in reference to my grandmother . She took me on a tour and I felt very comfortable touring the community .I am going to have a family meeting soon n discuss what Bella Terra has to offer .

Monarch Bella Terra is a beautiful community with very spacious and fully renovated apartments. Staff members are kind, caring and always welcoming residents and family members. Excellent place to live and to work at.

PLEASE READ **— I would not send my family member here whatsoever. They have inexperienced people working for them. There has been people left for hours unattended throughout the night. Sitting in urine and needing assistance. There’s absolutely zero activities for anybody to do as much as they like to show an activity calendar. The activity Director cannot make head or tail of the day. It’s complete chaos. None of these activities actually take place or the residents are incapable of completing Or the activity is so boring that the residents do not want to participate or they put part of the activity on the flat screen that the residents cannot see because they have vision problems. There’s nothing for them to actually do but sit in a community room and watch whatever a staff member puts on the television for them. The food is absolutely atrocious. Let’s not forget on every Friday they feed the elderly people their choice of, vodka, whiskey, bourbon, margaritas, or beer. I find that that’s a little risky being that all of these people are on different food regimens or different medications and also they are a fall risk, So I can’t imagine how giving them alcohol is safe or beneficial in any way. There has been residents that have tried to leave while being intoxicated , there are residents who have been intoxicated and assaulted staff members . There are even people in electric wheelchairs that have accidentally ran other people over and sent them to the hospital. The management really couldn’t care less what the staff members are doing or the residents. There is a resident there that assaults other residents as well as staff *as in pulling oxygen off of their face*, **Or using the wheelchair as a weapon towards staff and other residents** the resident does not have any repercussions for assaulting other people so the behavior continues (woman is very much cognitively all there) and voicing your opinion to management gets absolutely nowhere , I heard nothing but complaints from almost all of the residents there. I didn’t see one happy person. The amount of chaos and anxiety that the Activities Director creates and has could literally take out a horse. She genuinely has no idea how to do her job. There are assisted-living places that genuinely care (not this one) and even with the new management in place here I’ve seen massive lack of caring or any type of positive change, as well as marketing please don’t be surprised when marketing has activities going on in a general room or things are spruced up for your walk by appointment marketing purposely has activities do things to make it look like they actually do things there , they don’t. It’s all a scam. I only gave one extra star because the apartments are updated and the outside is nice. They spent a lot of time making your eyes think that this is a good place until you get behind closed doors, and these elderly people are left, scared and alone without their family and with no one that actually cares because anyone who did actually care was fired or made to quit. They don’t want to hire people who genuinely care because the people who genuinely care will report them, and if they do hire you and realize you do genuinely care, they try to get you to quit or they fire you, Im not going to stop. Google is just the beginning.

During my search for care facilities for my Father-in-law, I found that not only is it stressful, but you certainly don't need high-pressure salespeople. I went to many before I went to Bella Terra. I was quoted outrageous prices from some of these places. I can't tell how relieved I was to have found this place. My father-in-law is 98 years old and a veteran who now has a safe clean beautiful brand-new appointment. The staff is fabulous. Starting with Kathleen Goodwin who showed me around and informed me of all services and prices without the high-pressure sale pitch which I got from other places. To Cari who is an operations executive who coordinates everything from move-in to nurse evolutions. She is the best. I have to say even the head chief Mike was fantastic. It's great not to have to worry about your elderly parents. Thank you, Bella Terra, for caring and providing what families need in a family atmosphere.
