It’s a don’t miss nursery, Wholesale only These plants have been scientifically selected and or hybridized for success by the San Francisco Bay area’s finest horticulturists and researchers. Other plants carried are unique for their superior ruggedness such as disease resistance, low water needs, sun and coastal tolerance, and exciting characteristics, versus common varieties. In addition there are Subtropicals, agaves, aloes, Australian and New Zealand plants, succulents, unusual variegated, shade and brilliant color plants for up close viewing, and exciting coastal natives.

I unfortunately had a bad experience at Monterey Bay Nursery and their founder Luen Miller. I have worked in the industry for many years and have a wide range of horticultural experience and after talking with Mr. Miller he agreed to do a local sale. Unfortunately he did not follow through with his promise and had neglected to fill my order. This is a wholesale nursery and their inability to engage with the community of fellow growers is not appreciated.

Although I've never bought from them directly I've recently noticed that most of the plants I buy from my local nurseries are from Monterey Bay Nursery. I was unconsciously picking them because they tend to be the healthiest and most beautiful looking ones. I recently bought some blueberries that are fruiting abundantly. I googled this place hoping to visit and buy direct but seems they are wholesale unfortunately. Hoping one day they'll open up to individual buyers!

We came by hoping to buy some plants for our garden but turned out they not selling to individuals. Apparently we are not even allowed to walk around looking at the plants before going to their office first. At least you guys should put up some signs to let people know so they don't waste their time coming in.

This guy is the worst I've ever seen! Do not use him ever! He is not licensed and does not even know his plants. He tore up our yard and then said he needed more money to buy the plants. That his truck broke down and he used the deposit for that. So we gave him more money. He never came back. It has been a horrible experience.

They are not open to the public but their plants are sold at most of the local retail nurseries.
