Amanda with Montperi Catering did a wonderful job as our wedding coordinator! We did not need catering services because our venue handled all the food and beverage, but luckily for us we discovered that Montperi offers coordination services separately.

Amanda was a pleasure to work with from the beginning. Her experience in the industry was evident and her perspective as a caterer turned out to be very helpful. We had a few planning meetings with her in the months before the wedding where we got to pick her brain about the details of our timeline. She also ran our ceremony rehearsal the day before the wedding.

On the day of the wedding, she was very prepared and familiar with our detailed timeline. We DIY'd a lot, so we knew we would need her help setting up the flowers and decorations. Amanda understood our vision and was super efficient. She orchestrated the ceremony and kept our timeline on track the whole evening. How she managed to do everything she did and keep a big smile on her face, I don't know! I suspect she handled a lot more chaos than I was aware of on the day. I got to fully enjoy my wedding day, thanks in large part to Amanda.

Chef Lamont and Chef Todd prepared and served our Christmas meal this year in our home, and it was wonderful! The food was delicious, plentiful, and beautiful, and the chefs were lovely to work with and fit in so well with our smallish group of 20. Working with Amanda (business manager) was seamless and easy. Montperi Catering is a gem of a small business and we definitely plan to work with them again!

Montperi Catering handled the dinner for a recent anniversary soirée that I hosted and really hit it out of the park. I already had an international travel themed menu in mind and they were able to make it come to life with ease. The team is friendly, and they went above and beyond by matching their food labels to the menus I created for the event.

The reason I chose them was because during the research phase, they were extremely engaging and conversational and brainstormed with me instead of sending me canned email templates like so many others. It was a no-brainer and I couldn’t be happier.

Chef Lamonte and team catered a party of 35 people for me. The food, the service and experience were really excellent and my guests really enjoyed the whole evening. The salmon got very high marks from everyone as did the risotto, the ahi poke cups, the mac and cheese cups.

They came in and hour and half early to set up, with the Chef, two kitchen assistants, two servers and a bartender. Everything went smoothly and was well-paced.

The whole place was really clean and everything leftover was put away well in my fridge. They made it so painless for me and my husband as hosts - it was so nice to be able to be a guest at our own party!

I want to extend my thanks to all. I definitely recommend Montperi Catering and hire them again some day.

Montperi catered an office lunch for 100+ people. The team was awesome from start to finish. They were communicative and made sure all of the details were taken care of well in advance. They even offered to create a custom menu since the lunch was in celebration of Black History Month. The food was a HIT (especially the jerk chicken)! Coworkers are still talking about it!

I cannot recommend Montperi Catering enough; they did an absolutely phenomenal job for my wedding. My prior venue had closed, and with less than two months before the big day, I was scrambling to figure out how to plan a backyard wedding during COVID. I had no idea where to start, but then my friend recommended Montperi, assuring me that Chef Lamont's cooking was fantastic. I reached out that day, and was able to connect with Amanda.

Amanda was wonderful to work with. She was able to accommodate our work schedules to do a preliminary phone call, and she immediately made us feel so comfortable about working with Montperi to plan a safe wedding. During our socially-distanced walkthrough, she came up with creative solutions for organizing the wedding, figuring out where to place tables, how to staff the event, and how many rentals we would need. Between the walkthrough and the wedding day, she was super communicative, getting back to us quickly whenever we had questions or changes that needed to be made. A few days before the wedding, we had another telephone call to go over the day-of timeline, and she was able to offer a lot of advice and information about how things would go. She would ask us what we planned and immediately offered to help with those things, taking a huge burden off our shoulders.

On the day of, everything went perfectly. Amanda and the rest of the Montperi team kept things flowing so smoothly that I honestly felt like I was neglecting them because I didn't have to tell them anything. I was able to spend all of my time talking to family and friends, and never had to worry about timing or making sure things happened as needed because Montperi took care of everything. Everything was set up on schedule, the backyard was flipped from being a ceremony space to a dining space, and my friend was absolutely right - the food was delicious. We didn't do a tasting, so my first taste of the food was of the honey miso glazed salmon. I actually prefer raw salmon to cooked salmon because cooked salmon always felt dry to me. But as soon as I took my first bite of this salmon, I just stared at my husband and went "wow" at how tasty and tender it was. I also stole some tri tip from my sister, and it was so perfectly spiced and cooked.

I often hear about people not remembering or being able to enjoy their wedding, but that was never a risk for me. Montperi took care of so much that day, all the way to cleaning up and moving the rentals out of the way. Everything that needed to be done got done without me needing to check on things (and that is hard for me because I can be a compulsive control freak), and I really was just able to enjoy myself. At this point, I am honestly glad that my prior venue shut down because this wedding was everything we could have wanted; we were so happy throughout. I cannot think of any way it could have been better, and it would not have happened without Montperi. My only regret was that I didn't take the time to try all of the appetizers; now I have to listen to my family and friends tell me how delicious they were, without knowing for myself!

Needless to say, if I ever have to plan another big event, I know exactly who I will be contacting first.
