The company itself is great. They have the best prices and a great outdoor area set up on display to view. But I want this message to get to the right person so they know that the guy who works inside behind the counter at their Antioch location should not be in customer service. He is extremely rude and not pleasant at all to deal with.

ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I would put ZERO star if it was possible. I bought 25 bullnose red bricks back in May. The girl made a mistake and charged me @4.40 per unit. I noticed there were cheaper at other stores. I called a month later and got a quote of $2.60 per unit.I went over there and bought 10 and then Spoke with the cashier who had zero personality and showed him the receipt .His did not do any adjustment claiming that he had to pay more shipping in May?. SO they paid $2.00 per unit is shippingThat did not make to me. SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE .

If i can give a ZERO stars i WOULD! Worst horrible experience EVER. The manger refused to give me my ordered. And was horrible with me. Treated me like a criminal. WORST STORE TO GO AND GIVE YOUR MONEY TOO. . Please go somewhere else and will treat you with kindness and respect.

The bricks we purchased were perfect. The prices were fair. The only problem that I experienced at this business was a certain staff member named jaun. Juan was very difficult. His attitude was very poor and cold. Juan is the only reason my experience was unsatisfactory. Besides jaun, I highly recommend this business. Unfortunately you may end up dealing with this person

They used to be the premier nursey in the East Bay and their high prices matched their high service and selection. Those days are no more. The selection is sparse at best and poorly cared for. There is but one competent nursery woman working there and she is ill equipped to discuss the latest in organic and heirloom growing. The rest of the staff are unable to answer questions, rude or disinterested and infuriating with their lazy unwillingness to learn the basics of their trade. If it weren't for their proximity I would never go and only shop Sloat.
