This place is one of many coffee plantations in the area. We took a short guided tour led by a friendly gentleman who walked us through the key stages of coffee production, from the coffee fruit to a delicious cup of coffee. Additionally, the center features a small garden with beautiful tropical plants. The wonderful staff here prepare and serve delicious local coffee for tasting.

Informative free tour that is about 15 minutes long but worth it for free and you get to try some coffee. We also were able to see the coffee bean processing equipment in the building and they have a great little gift shop. We did pay $10 per family for the short nature trail on the property which was really nice. It had a few lava tubes you could see from the trail and beautiful fauna. It’s not far from Kona so a quick trip up the mountain to learn about Kona coffee.

An absolutely must-visit for coffee lovers. The tour guide was fantastic as he provided a step-by-step talk through the production process from harvesting through to bean roasting and classification. The self-guided garden walk ($10) to see the lava tubes was also very peaceful and enjoyable. Look out for their beautiful cats!

Loved this coffee tasting experience. Our group wasn’t looking for a tour, we just wanted to sample and buy coffee. This place is great because we were allowed to go on the self guided nature walk ($10/group), taste the coffees, pet the resident cats, and purchase the coffees we liked at the gift shop. It was a perfect way to spend an hour with a group.

The tour is short and informative, the plantation is pretty and the coffee to buy has been one of the best coffees we have bought for our espresso machine ever.

They also have some chocolate covered coffee treats that is delicious.

And the coffee taste is free you don’t have to pay to try the coffees or to do the tour. The tours happen every 30 minutes more or less.

If you want to go around the nature hike it is $10 per family.

Ubers/ Lyft do make it this far, you may have to wait a bit but not too long, about 10-15 min.

We really enjoyed this place. The tour, the gift shop, the atmosphere, the major walk… It was all worth it. The young lady that did our tour was very informative and smooth and seem to really enjoy what she does. The coffee sampling was amazing and extremely good. The bonus nature trail is beautiful and well worth the $10 per group.

The buildings are clean and almost historic looking. The tour is informative and short, just showing the processing area.

Great free 30 minute tour about the coffee plant, coffee growing and harvest, then the processing of coffee to the raw coffee beans and then the roasting. Free samples of their coffee too. Great stop.
