Great place to visit if you happen to be in MSU area. It's free to enter and enjoy. Summer is a great time to visit as you get to see varieties of flowers. Don't miss rose garden. Sunset is also awesome there

The gardens are a perfect place to start your Saturday. Grab a cup of coffee and enjoy the view. The fresh smell of the flowers and the grass is intoxicating. Just stay for 30 minutes, and you'll leave with a clear outlook for the day.

This marker for the garden is closer in position to where the fancy-dancy gala things happen. There’s some nice fountain-action happening, and some well-labeled greenery.

It’s best to visit in the windy, late spring or the blustery early evenings of fall. In those twilight hours, the dangling ivy reveals the nature of the nearby buildings. They breathe, deeply and humblingly. The bricks rise and swell in the humid air, belying their seemingly inanimate stature.

One can only imagine the not-too-distant season when those slow, rumbling breaths accelerate. Only then will the spirit beneath the stone awaken to ride through the rolling hills.
