I have been enjoying Mycopolitan mushrooms for a couple of years now. Their mushrooms are super high quality, and it's fun to cook with a broader variety than is typically available in conventional grocery stores (I get mine from Riverwards Produce!). I surprised my partner and some of our friends with a tour of the farm this weekend, and we had a blast. Brian was so thoughtful, funny, knowledgeable, and kind. He led the best guided tour I've ever attended in Philly. It was the right mix of history, science, and culture - it's really clear that these guys are passionate about what they do. Thank you Mycopolitan for sharing your work with us! Such a treat, I recommend the tour to any fungi nerds and lovers.

We went on a tour for my brother in law's birthday, and it could not have been more fun! We took our kids, and our tour guide was engaging and SO knowledgeable. We all had a great time, and the kids are still talking about getting to pick mushrooms themselves.

Hubby and I did the tour. Tyler was a great host. The farming is interesting (my husband is more into it than me), but the best part was the fresh mushrooms that come with the tour. We've been using them since, and they're delicious. They're available at our local co-op, so we'll definitely buy mycopolitan again.

This company is amazing. They seem genuinely dedicated to the community they serve and make every effort possible to give back and support others. The mushrooms they grow taste fantastic and are extremely hard to come by from other growers. Overall excellent business run by excellent people.

Just ate a rice and Blue Oyster dish made from the mushrooms from here, and wow! I had half a dozen friends say that it was the tastiest non animal protein dish they've ever tasted -
Quick and simple recipe:
- slice fluffy body from flatter tops
- put the tops on a baking tray in the oven drizzled with a little olive oil, salt and garlic. Bake @300°f for 20 minutes to make very tender
- chop fluffy mushroom stem bodies and cook with rice in a frying pan with any herbs you like

Has a taste and texture that truly resembles the softest oysters in the world, but with a nutty wood taste that is out of this world.

I can't wait to try some more varieties of the most perfectly cultivated mushrooms outside of the vast Pacific Northwest forests!

This place is awesome! Great mushrooms and feels good to support local. They have clamshells! CLAMSHELLS! I got to meet the guys who run the place, Dan, Brian, and Ty. So great to be around good people with good values.
