One of the nicer gift shops I've visited so far. The room was very nicely decorated with Christmas ornaments. Stop by when visiting the botanical garden. There is a waiting area for the shuttle bus in the back of the building.

The National Tropical Botanical Gardens is an absolute must…even for those that are not huge flower fans. If you take the guided tour (ask for Ron T), you ride through a private part of the property that gives you the opportunity to see stunning ocean views…not available otherwise. Check before visiting, but a free hula show is usually Thursday afternoon.

If you are planning to have a leisure day in the island, you have to visit the botanical garden. Our tour guide JoAnn was great! We where able to see plants you aren’t able to see anywhere else. Seeing the trees shown in Jurassic Park was also a nice surprise.

We did the 930am Best of Both Worlds Tour, which takes you thru the McBryde and Allerton Gardens. Our tour guide Sam was knowledgeable and fun. He has a strong connection to the gardens as his father planted many trees & plants. It's a great 2.5 hour tour, with many great photographic opportunities. Alright, Alright!
